Sickmanfudo | Draw Sense: High Level | Sept 5 |
A comment from Sickmanfudo:
The new cards give the deck so much offense. Very explosive due to Master Hyperion combined with Earth searching Venus. Then transmogrifying Earth into another Venus. Getting 2 shine balls to draw with elephant's gift. And dropping Hyperion by banishing the Earth you just put in the grave for the finishing blow.

Pharmacist | Duel, standby! | Sept 12 |
A comment from Pharmacist:
Deck type: Imano control deck
This deck abuse the skill duel standby, so our Imano will not return to the hand if we open with it first turn.
Because Konami revamped the ladder this month with no demotion prior to legend 2 so I tried a lot of decks in platinum and legend one but after that nothing really works due to dark lords, so I built this deck to shut them off and farming along the way desperado, magnets, Vendread and more.
Battle traps are necessary because our monsters have a low stat.
Night beam and galaxy cyclone to pop back rows.
King barbarous will have 3000 after the effect of world legacy clash.

Masked Beast | Middle Age Mechs | Sept 13 |
A comment from Masked Beast:
Fast rise to KOG after struggling with the switching between Six Samurai and Sub Terror. This deck almost never bricked and was successful against most top tier such as desperado, six samurai, and mirror matches as well. Just needed to be patient and play smart!
Easy Win: Six samurai, Cyber Angel, Fortune Lady
Moderate: Desperado, Metaphys, and Triamid, Mirror Match
Difficult but winnable: Vendread, Darklord, and sometimes Flower Cardian if I went first...
Most opening moves consisted of Ancient Gear Fortress followed by Wyvern to get a Reactor Dragon, and then either destroying Fortress or Geartown to get Reactor Dragon on the field. There face down traps don’t work with Fortress already on the field. If no Fortress in hand, summon AG wyvern and get AG reactor dragon on the field after! Opponents either surrendered or were out after turn 3! I was successful with three AG reactor dragons decks, but deck can be run with two.

Duterte | Middle Age Mechs | Sept 16 |
A comment from Duterte:
Wasn't sure what to mix to counter existing top tier decks. Came up with a simple Ancient Gear budget deck. World Legacy Clash and Debunk made a whole lot difference against top tier decks. Debunk is efficient against cosmo, fortune lady, magnet, and Darklord decks. Had some rough edges with Cardiana in countering card effects. A good combination of Debunk and world legacy makes it difficult for Desperado decks to execute combos and with the existing monster on the field, easily letting out gear reactor dragon makes a good play afterward.

A comment from Rigie:
Like the other's AG deck. Just add some trap for top tier decks like Desperado and his friend.

A comment from adi boyka:
I use 3.reactors and 3 geartown, those traps helped a lot vs samurais or red eyes subterror and every opponent i faced, it was kinda easy to reach kog, grave squirmer helped a lot too

ⓛㅅⓛ | Sealed Tombs | Sept 2 |
A comment from ⓛㅅⓛ:
Sphere Kuriboh and Snipe Hunter are becoming obsolete in this current meta simply because Snipe is too inconsistent (we all know it ain't 2/3 chance) and Kuriboh ain't solving the Desperado problem. So I'd rather have Share The Pain to remove those pesky machines and Silver's Cry to break through post-Desperado's effect. Also, I chose to run Econ here instead of TTH because econ + Cosmo Brain is better at removing machines as well as Brave Neos.

Deathdragonv | Beatdown | Sept 23 |
A comment from Deathdragonv:
Hi, this is my submission for my King of Games deck. I hope it's not too long. I just tried to be helpful.
I've tried to give an in-depth description, to help beginner Blue eyes players. This is a free to play deck:
I use Crowler, as it helps stop opponents setting too many spells and traps. If you go second, it can give you the edge you need to win, basically by faking your opponent out.
Beatdown is mainly for Mirror matches.
I found this monster selection to be the most successful at dealing with as many deck types as possible.
White Stone is incredible. I found it in the first hand is extremely good, so 3 is a must.
Snipe Hunter to deal with slower monsters, either with strong effects or high power. It also pairs ridiculously well with white stone. 2 seems to work better than 3 as it's much better going second. You don't want to contribute to slow first hands.
Dawn night is okay. But it isn't a tuner and its attack power is weak. I just found it to be a little cloggy so I only run one. It seems to work and help to stop slower hands.
Keeper of the Shrine. I really like this card, but I found that in practice, 1 is the best. It can contribute to slow hands and leave you with sub-par recovery if you get it too early and don't already have big dragons in the grave. However, it is versatile and can give you a much better chance against red eyes.
I didn't really rate protector until I tried it at 2. It gets around Six Sam and lets you bring out a big dragon much better than Ancient rules. It also lets you get a Synchro out if you have a white stone and a dragon to pair it with. It works stronger than you might imagine.
Cosmo Brain is too good not to run. I would run 2, but my deck is free to play, so 1 it is. It helps get dragons in the grave for use later and pairs well with all of the lower effect monsters. Especially Dawn Knight and White Stone. This card leads to a lot of OTK if you have another monster to pair with it.
Blue eyes. Must run at least 2. I found 3 clogs too much. In hand, this card is generally not good. Pair it with Snipe Hunter or Protector for the best use in hand.
White Dragon. Amazing. Banishing Spells and Traps before your opponent can respond is very very strong. Slightly weaker than Blue eyes, but Beatdown makes up for that. Again, not good in the hand. Best paired again with Snipe Hunter or Protector.
Spells. The deck is very minster heavy so there really isn't room for many Spells.
I run 1 Silvers Cry. Incredible but makes for very slow hands at times. It really helps with Snipe Hunter and White Dragon combos. Being a quick play spell, it can play around Galaxy Cyclone and other Spell and Trap removal. Also works very well against Drowning Mirror Force.
World Legacy Clash is just ridiculous. It helps your little guys survive if you need them to and provides outrageous protection for blue eyes. Much better used defensively in the battle phase, to stop an attacking monster and weaken a different one. 3 is a must. I accept that it causes slow hands but the pay off is just too good.
I run one trap, with 2 copies of it. Treacherous is very good right now. It causes a lot of trouble to Subterror, Fortune Lady and Triamid. Used at the right time, it just stops decks dead in their tracks and makes you win. The second copy can be used as fodder for Snipe Hunter.
Extra deck is mostly standard. I use a level 5 to make use of white stones and level 4s on my field and get the deck going. I like the life point increase in Magical Android.
Level 6 is just to help get extra white stones in the grave and cause a little threat. I like the attack reduction of Blue Sirius. Level 8 very rarely comes out. Situational at best. I'd run Stardust if I had it.
The deck struggles most against Yubel. Snipe Hunter and Treacherous need to be used to destroy every Yubel form to give you a chance. It's unlikely you will win if they set up.
The second biggest problem is Vendered. They have a lot of recoveries and can use Beatdown to destroy your field and Banish your Blue eyes.

{SSQ}Railgun | Beatdown | Sept 24 |
A comment from {SSQ}Railgun
Deck Blue-Eyes F.
15 consecutive victories from leg1 to kog.
The deck is very simple to use as a classic BE. Use a Fabled stand that creates combos with Snipe Hunter and The Tricky.
Forbidden Chalice is useful against Fortune Lady and Six Samurai gaining time, useful even if necessary to increase one's attack strength.
For the rest, it works like the other existing Blue-Eyes decks.
I was lucky not to meet Dark Lords, deck against which I have no chance of winning.
I hope you like my list and above all it is useful.
Good luck to all the duelists.

A comment from romios18:
Comment: Alternative White Dragon's effect is pretty good and you can recycle it with White Stone. Deep-Eyes was just for fun but I special summoned it a couple of times. Maybe a second Dawn Knight or a third Cosmo Brain are better options. Anyways it's a free 3000 ATK if you're against Desperado/Magician of Chaos that will destroy all opponent's monsters when destroyed by effect or a free discard for Snipe Hunter's effect.
