I went 25-0 on my KOG climb which took me completely by surprise. This deck is the most consistent deck due to always opening with Scrap Recycler or Crystron Sulfefnir and another crystron monster which always equals a win bc they can fetch any monster in the deck. And every non-tuner also fetches any tuner in the deck. This gives you easy access to Quariongrandrax, probably the best Synchro monster in the game.

Which then gets combined with the skill Mind of the Plana. This makes it hard for your opponent to come back. Especially against graveyard focused decks.

After reaching KOG in last 3 seasons with Blackwings, I decided to switch to another deck.

Cyber Dragon is very good despite the new meta with a lot of cards not F2P, I switched night beam for floodgate, Herald of the Abyss is a great card in this deck. For all f2p players, stay focused and trust your cards

Second time reaching KOG with this deck. The reason for triple vanilla cd is to prevent bricking, which happens when I decide to run 1 (have no idea how others not bricking).

Dark Magic Expanded useful against:

• skill: Grit

• Blue eyes, Thunder… ( High Attack Monsters)
• Invoked Cocytus

Night`s End Sorcerer against:

• Shiranui
• Thunder

• Dark Magician

My 3rd kog with Dark Magician, it did well also in the 2nd phase of the KC Cup. Mirror Wall have a great synergy with the deck and the skill since protect your monster from big beaters and by paying the maintenance cost you can easily trigger NMCR that in this meta wins the duels. Mirror Wall is also a damage step card so is very useful in the very common mirror match since can't be negated by Magician Navigation, just like Dark Magic Expanded but does not require a Dark Magician on the field or graveyard.

I went on a winning streak from Legend Rank 3 to KOG. Mirror Wall works incredibly well in this deck! It is a battle trap, it helps to activate the skill, and it creates the perfect combo with Magician of Dark Illusion and the Circle due to the possibility of activating it whenever you want! I was struggling to advance before I read the deck made by pasq and added 2x MW, but after it, the deck was pretty successful, and I recommend this card for all Dark Magician players!
