A comment from Zeref:
I used the same deck as last month with a few changes playing more back removal, I switched forbidden chalice for cosmic cyclone, I faced some difficulties against Lunalight and Cyber Dragon.

A comment from BlueDelta:
Compared to my January KoG deck, there are only minor changes. I added a second Black-Winged Dragon so I can get the full benefit of Blackbird Close twice, which does happen from time to time (monster effect negation + Black-Winged Dragon onto the field). Black-Winged Dragon + Oroshi allows for an easy opportunity to Synchro Summon Vermillion Dragon Mech.
I removed one Raikiri, as having one on the field is enough in most cases. This change also falls in line with the upcoming banlist, which I am also going to address in this review. Crow’s level 35 reward proved to be a valuable addition to this deck, as its search effect boost consistency a lot. The real downside is its inability to special summon itself. The other effect of being only allowed to be used for Blackwing Synchros has no negative impact at all, as most of your Synchros are level 7 Blackwings anyway. If you think you won’t get OTK’d when going first you can set it to shield your LP and trigger the search effect during your opponent’s end phase on turn 2. If it survives the turn you can still go for a Synchro Summon turn 3 and get the search effect during your end phase.
As for the upcoming banlist, the only real question is what to replace Oroshi with. All the other Level 1 Blackwing tuners cannot special summon themselves and have useless effects all across the board with Vayu not even being able to be used as Synchro Material when on the board. With 2 Oroshi being gone the most valuable option for a replacement going to be Jin times two or times one plus one more Kris.
Harpies‘ Hunting Ground still is the best skill in my opinion to boost search options (and Sealed Tombs is gonna get nerfed soon anyway).

JuanKATO | Alternative Evolution | Mar 20 |
A comment from JuanKATO:
Hi here is my favorite deck BEWD.
Pretty fun to play, especially against Dark Magician.
First I'll try with Just one Dragón Spirit of White, but seem to be not enough to remove back rows, so I end up with two and two sage, many others play 3 sage, but I found this very playable, magic van be changed for silver cry, but Card of Consonance speed up the deck, and the traps help to disrupt the turn of the opponent, would be better 3 Raigeki Break but Just have 2, that's why I add a Divine Wrath, also champion's vigilance is an combo breaker especially against cards like Aleister, Magician Rod, etc...
Thanks and have fun.

A comment from LaunCHz:
Hi there,
This deck is really fun to play and so flexible to deal with various situations.
The core cards you would like to have on you first hand is Sage and Mausoleum. Sage will search for either Maiden or Protector depends on your hand while Mausoleum will allow you to summon another tuner to call on BLUE-EYES. If you want to destroy monster or have another BLUE-EYES White Dragon on your hand, better use Alternative Evolution right away. If not, better keep the BLUE-EYES form. Then synchro summon Spirit Dragon. You will feel much safe with him.
When you don't know what you’re dealing with and cannot summon Spirit Dragon, BLUE-EYES Solid Dragon is a great choice to dodge a card effect from your opponent and call on BLUE-EYES WHITE DRAGON from your deck. His skill to negate monster effect is awesome too! Having both Solid and Spirit on the board is great.
One Keeper will save you from OTK deck. A lot of times.
When you know the possibility of this deck, you can synchro summon up to 3 times in one turn and turn the board around.
Have fun dueling!!

A comment from Idolfist:
Blue Eyes aggressive deck, First summon spirit dragon to limit your opponent plays, then keep recycling alternative blue eyes to annihilate your opponent monsters; enemy control is your best tech card, use it wisely (very useful against Lunalight). Deep eyes is your defensive card, summon and use its effect just to win the duel. Let’s duel!
