Probably because is very expensive and has not so many fans like dark magician and blue eyes. And it seems quite complicated to play.

It's not that expensive compared to other main box archetypes, but yeah, it's probably the kinda more complicated playstyle.

Unfortunately, the card that makes Crystron easier to play, is a Link monster, so we won't get it for a long while....

Optimal Crystron deck is very expensive. The best Crystron non-tuner, the best Crystron trap, extra deck monsters and additional backrow, were all released in different boxes
