Silvyr | Duel, standby! | Nov 2 |
A comment from Silvyr:
The deck is very starting hand heavy, as the set cards mostly can be countered with remove/banish spell/trap cards in the end phase of your turn if you go second. However, it is very strong against Darklords, Fortune Ladies, Desperados and Six Sams. Which mostly comprehends nowadays meta decks.
You have to push for negate and try to never attack on your Duel, Standby! (First turn), as opponents card effects can just mess up your whole combo on your first, their second turn. It was very versatile deck as you can gain high attack power with (C.Current and Chalice) also lower theirs by Wall of Disruption or WLC.
Also added 1 Anti-Magic Arrows which is awesome to do the finishing blow. I hope it helps, wish you all best. Have fun!

Acydchaos | The Tie that Binds | Nov 11 |
A comment from Acydchaos:
Note :
I used the same deck as last month because for the moment, the meta is so diversified that you are easily able to use Twin Twister to destroy your opponent's cards. The Karakuri monster cleans the field, and the drowning mirror force is here to save yourself when you brick.
The magic card that helped me not to lose a single duel from Legend 1 to KoG is the Trap Hole, stopping combos of Yosenju, Six Sams, Neos and such.
The tie that binds allows the Dragon to be above 3000 Atk, which is higher than the attack of almost every monster in the current meta.

CL Trader | Middle Age Mechs | Nov 13 |
A comment from CL Trader:
This was probably my easiest KOG to date. It’s a favorable matchup versus darklords and Invoke decks, which are essentially the current meta. But grave squirmer is the key to this deck. It can destroy your ancient gear spell cards to summon gear dragon or one of their boss monsters if their Attack is greater than 3000 (ancient gears attack), and that’s important since beat down has been basically eliminated.

DarkNinja01 | Middle Age Mechs | Nov 14 |
A comment from DarkNinja01:
Straightforward ancient gear deck. Choose when to destruct own cards wisely. Scab Goblin is setting up for specific circumstances, it should not be the goal for summoning. Do NOT activate Geartown unless have a card to destroy it or use its summoning effect. If able to tribute summon one monster, always do so. Necessary cards will be drawn/searched to get what you need

Drustan | Middle Age Mechs | Nov 25 |
A comment from Drustan:
Many variations of Invokers causing problems to AG decks. The 2x Econ allows for aggressive takeover and FTH is key in Blackwing and Darklords matchups.

Sickmanfudo | Blackwing Rising | Nov 12 |
A comment from Sickmanfudo :
This deck is great going first or second and almost always wins by turn 3. Opening up with Poison Wind, and any blackwing that can SS itself, in most cases is a almost always auto win due to the busted combo that ends your turn with Hawk Joe, Rain Shower, Poision Wind and 2 searches. The deck is very good at OTKing and very hard to combat. My only loses on my KOG climb were to the mirror match.

LaplaceXZ | Peak Performance | Nov 22 |
A comment from LaplaceXZ:
Second KOG in a row, this time managed to do it with a not-near-optimal Blackwing deck.
I'm F2P and is farming gems through pvp and somehow managed to reach KOG using this deck.
I got no Simoon and no Kris (surprisingly). So this is the optimal Blackwing deck that I can play with for now.
AFD is there to search either Necrovalley to shut/slow down Invoker and Darklord, or search Summon Breaker to slowdown other synchro based deck, such as Blackwing itself and Ritual Beast.
I'm using cursed seal and it works wonders.
Seal away Invocation, Banishment, Neos Fusion, Vendread Revolution, Necrovalley or any threatening spell card.
Hope I got at least 1 Simoon soon so I can optimize this deck further.

Slightly different from my KC Cup deck. Adding the Hey, Trunades helped a lot.

Contatore | Grit | Nov 27 |
A comment from Contatore:
After realizing that a full offensive deck is just not for me, I added some defensive modification to the usual Blackwing deck so that it would suit my playing style. The ability grit has saved me from second turn kill every time I went first, and it also changed the result of duels against Invoked Magellanica + Concentrating Current OTK or such that made me frustrated with the older version.
I also added a level 8 and 9 synchro cards since I liked using Harmattan a lot and it turned out working a lot better. I had no luck finding Simoon with the gems I had but the deck works great anyway.
