What is forbidden/limited card?

Forbidden cards are essentially "banned" cards, while limited simply means that you can only put 1 in a deck, semi-limited is up to two in your deck only. Some cards in the OCG/TCG are either forbidden, or limited, and this is due to their ability to create an unbalanced experience for the game.

Ruling

Unlike in the TCG/OCG where you can have multiple limited cards with different names in your deck, in Duel Links you can only have a total of 1 limited card in your deck. For example you have limited card A and limited card B, and you already put 1 card A in your deck, you cannot add card B to your deck even if they are not cards of the same name.
This rule is also true for semi-limited cards in which you can only have a total of 2 semi-limited cards in your deck.

Why do they even help fur hire over amazoness when they were actually the more dangerous deck!? This is ridiculous... But I'm glad they didn't do anything to the dark magician cards and helped cyber petit angel and vyon. And the Bring It! buff? Okay, well that's...nice, I guess.

Goodbye darklords
NotAPopularOpinion
They should limit every card to 1
Anonymous
People who are happy that there's no banlist right now should actually be in fear, because that means if their deck is still dominating in the next KC Cup in March, the hit would be much harder.

Konami needs the profit from newer boxes and stuff, you know.
Anonymous
where tf is my banlist konami?!?!?!

Now I understand why the game has such disappointing figures.
Usually the yugioh brand is much more successful.

It is true that no one is coming back to this game due to nostalgia of season 1. My friends' favourite card is baby dragon. I managed to get them into duel links but once they found out baby dragon decks became useless they had no reason to play any more.
<< Anonymous
Anonymous Reply
I know how you feel man.
That baby dragon was like the most popular monster in my elementary school.

Anyway, the newer generation are not at all interested in anything yugioh related. Only older people who feel nostalgic toward the brand still play it.
Such a shame that the few people who might come back dislike duel links because of balance/nostalgia breaking cards like Quintet for beginners.

Sometimes it looks like Konami is trying to 🔥 its own Yu-Gi-Oh franchise with wtf unbalanced cards.

I never used cash to buy cards but seeing how things are going I'm happy I didn't buy anything. Newer cards are just so much more powerful that they decrease the value of older cards.

The game doesnt have disappointing figures. Its sales have increased. And in the card game its the same thing, cards become more powerful over time. Some of you guys complain too much. Older cards are still good depending on what they are, look at some of the older cards that become more relevant in newer decks in the future.
Anonymous
it's evident there's no banlist simply because the meta is very stable and balanced at the moment.

Only fake fans and fake players complain.

Completely agree.

Always so good to see my opponent rage quit once they notice I have more than 1 copy of Molehu and Palace of the Elemental Lords. I got so much free victories thanks to my Elementsaber deck.

I don't understand why F2P players keep complaining when Invoker-elementsaber cost a cheap $60.

NO BAN LIST THIS MONTH.

I want those Limited cards are only limited in PvP matches, playing with Legendary Duelists will won't affected

Aleister being "Neos Fusion 2.0" makes me wonder if it would be the very first Box UR to get hit.
<< Anonymous
Anonymous Reply
After Cocytus and Magellanica you wish they would be hit even more? More likely they are limiting some Elementsabers since they are the ones who make use of them the most.
<< Anonymous
Anonymous Reply
They might release Magellanica & put Aleister on semi though. That's what I was thinking.

And then release Magical Meltdown in the next main box in order to boost up their sale.
Anonymous
Top decks in KC Cup February 2020 are Darklord and Elementsaber Invoked.....again.

Yeah, expect to see bigger hits to those two in the future.
Anonymous
add shiranui on this list
<< Anonymous
Anonymous Reply
If they do that then only the Rare or Normal rarity cards would be limited.

I do agree that the new cards are too strong compared to cards released 1 or 2 years earlier.
Anonymous
Invokeds are intact.

I'm amazed you can type that considering you're clearly blind.

Absolutely
<< Anonymous
Anonymous Reply
Certain Invoked decks? Sure.

But as an archetype, they're nowhere near intact lol. Cocytus Limited and Magellanica Semi-Limited......
<< Anonymous

And you just say "Invoked" like you're talking about an archetype instead of specific decks, so......yeah, you're blind, like the above anon says

Besides Yugioh, I like One Piece. Kurohige is my role model. 659-440-527
Lvl 45 deck name is A Frog's Journey
Can easily be special summoned by mother grizzly.
This card will always deck out superheavy samurai since they don't use spell or traps.
