Cannot be Special Summoned. You can pay half your LP; destroy as many cards on the field as possible (other than this card), and if you do, banish them. This card gains 300 ATK for each card destroyed this way. Once per turn, during the End Phase, if this card was Normal or Flip Summoned this turn: Send it to the Graveyard.

Pros

  • Clears the entire field, possibly turning the duel around when going against difficult enemy.

Cons

  • Low attack when not a lot of cards on the field.
  • Leaves you open after your attack.

Tips, related cards, skills

  • Paying the Life Points will enable draw skills like “Draw Sense” or “Destiny Draw” for your next turn.
  • Recommended to use when your opponent’s LP is low enough to be killed from the attack.
  • Cost Down to reduce the amount of sacrifice needed for tribute which can be good to increase attack if you have more than 1 monsters.
  • Gandora can be tribute set on the field and changed to face up defense position using Desert Sunlight which will not be considered as normal, flip or special summoned so it will not be destroyed in the end phase of that turn.

Hey guys I'm playing the game for two weeks and I've just unlocked Yugi and when I read GANDORA text I found it's like another monster than the anime version, it destroys spell/trap and gains atk points to atk !!
so are all cards diff from the anime ??

Actually, considering the DSOD world is a thing, and Gandora-X is a DSOD card, and was used in the anime to counter Deep-Eyes (DSOD Kaiba's level 30 reward card) we might get it as DSOD Yugi's level 30 reward card, or maybe even his signature (though I think his signature card will probably be Dark Magician considering his deck in the movie and all).

Welp, be Mokuba then use 3 Red eyes 3 Mausoleums some etc cards 1 Gandora then use Mokuba's skill "Monstermorph Evolution" skill. I think you see where this is going... Basically Summon Red Eyes with Mausoleum the activate Monstermorph BOOM you can use Gandora forever he never leaves the field, I Recommend waiting for your enemies side to have lots of cards.

I fought against him 5 minutes ago. He destroyed 2 of my cards so got 600 ATK. I attacked him a 2500 ATK monster in my next turn, he activated Hallowed Life Barrier so he didnt get damage, but his Gandora also survived. Why? Why i couldnt 🔥 him? He had 600 AT, i had 2500 ATK and Gandora's text is not tell to "This card can not be destroyed by battle". I dont understand why i couldnt 🔥 him.

Hallowed Life Barrier protect the user's monster from being destroyed by battle (as if 2 monsters with 0 ATK battle)

Ohh, i see
So this is the different between "you take no battle damage" (Spirit Barrier) and "any damage you take ... becomes 0" (Hallowed Life barrier). Fist situation you won't get damage, the second situation works like both monsters have 0 ATK.
I think the Life Barrier's text is not very clear, but now i understand what happend.

Guys I found an idea to make infinite loop,first,you must have Paleozoic on your side of the field(those cards are trap card so they can be a monster when they are on graveyard and another trap card is activated),then you can summon gandora with mausoleum of emperor,finally activated gandora effect,so Paleozoic is unaffected by effect of any monster they still on field and you can activate gandora effect again to make infinite loop

That's useful if you want to get down to 1 LP for whatever reason, but it only gains ATK for the cards that it destroys, so if you don't destroy anything, it won't gain any ATK.

So I faced Yugi Mutou in plat, then he summon Gandora and activy the effect and gain 1600 or 1800. In my hand only have swift gaia fierce knight. It attacked me directly. Then my turn i draw enemy controller, I set it so in normal situation I can summon swift gaia, but i cant. So is bug or other effect of Gandora?

Confirmed Access Denied skill since it does not allow you to Normal/Special summon Effect monsters nor use their effects. Your Swift Gaia is effect monster so, yep.

Yugi muto uses the skill access denied which states that neither player cant summon an effect monster and effects of effect monsters are blocked, for one turn.
Including effects of effect monsters that activate in the hand.

Gandora's effect can destroy Osiris, as Osiris (and Ra!) in the effect version lacks the god status immunity.

Obelisk randomly has the immunity for whatever reason, but even then, it's only targeting immunity, Gandora's effect does not target and will destroy Obelisk.
