So they limited this card to 1 in advance because of Super Poly.

Well, technically you can still play this card and Super Poly through "Ultimate Fusion" skill with Jaden/Yubel or Supreme King, but it's sub-optimal since Metalfoes wants 1 free card to destroy especially when going first.

This helps setup a great turn one using orichalc as an on demand pop while going into alkheist to absorb or mithrillium to recycle (on your turn).

Not really. Metalfoes is one of those decks that's severely limited by the speed duel format. It requires a pendulum skill just to be able to use any sort of backrow, and compared to other decks that can easily set up a board off of a single card it suffers from needing too much work to get anything. Their boss monsters also lack ways to get around large beatsticks like BEWD other than one monster
