Pros

Negates monster effects that activates from Hand or Graveyard.
Banishes the monster which effect was negated.

Cons

Situational card, only applicable for monster effects that activates from Hand or Graveyard.

Tips

This card does not negate Win Conditions such as Exodia (Having all 5 pieces in the player’s hand) nor does it negate Summoning conditions that does not start a Chain link, such as Cyber Dragon.

Counter

This card is able to negate monster effects that activates from opponent’s Hand, such as Van’Dalgon the Dark Dragon Lord, Sphere Kuriboh, and Kuriboh. Bujingi Quilin, Bujingi Sinyou and Bacon Saver are some examples of monster effects that activate from the Graveyard, which will be negated by Debunk’s effect as well.

Only if somehow Levianeer activates its effects in hand or GY. Normally, no.

This card counters WC, Shira, Karakuri, crystrons, BW. Only problem is that its a trap.

I had this card on the field vs a darklord deck and when they activated the effect of darklord tezactoplipoca in hand i just watched and couldn't use it?? Can someone explain why because i thought it would work vs this.

I think that darklord card effect does not start a chain so you can't negate it. It's like the neos fusion protection

I think Tezactoplipoca's effect happens during the perform damage calculation step/end of damage step, which is a really strange area to try to rule, but I do not believe counter traps can be activated at that time... it's sort of like a pseudo spell speed 4 unless I'm mistaken.

Lava golem is a tribute summon, not a effect.

It is not a Tribute Summon, it is an effect. But like with Cyber Dragon, it does not start a Chain, so it cannot be negated with Debunk.
