What is forbidden/limited card?

Forbidden cards are essentially "banned" cards, while limited simply means that you can only put 1 in a deck, semi-limited is up to two in your deck only. Some cards in the OCG/TCG are either forbidden, or limited, and this is due to their ability to create an unbalanced experience for the game.

Ruling

Unlike in the TCG/OCG where you can have multiple limited cards with different names in your deck, in Duel Links you can only have a total of 1 limited card in your deck. For example you have limited card A and limited card B, and you already put 1 card A in your deck, you cannot add card B to your deck even if they are not cards of the same name.
This rule is also true for semi-limited cards in which you can only have a total of 2 semi-limited cards in your deck.

I really want to believe that. But knowing Konami, I'm not going to get too excited. I doubt we will see Amazoness Call. And Amazoness Archer will never happen because of the burn effect. That leaves empress and pet liger. I really hope they get in so I can use them with the Master of Fusion skill.

Ayaya, only 2 rods, now my x2 Navigation and 1-2 Circle are less consistent.

Maybe that is why you have the option of buying the boxes 3 times?

Stop whiniiing and start opening those DM packs instead.

The real nerf is affecting cydra before anything else.

Seriously one of if not the worst ban list so far. DM and Shiranui get IF ANYTHING the smallest slap on the wrist. Oh no wand and Squire are at 2? Oh gee its not like it just takes 1 to get the whole thing going.... And the fact that you make Spectral Sword to 3?! so Shira seriously doesnt get hit. Heck Neos decks got a tiny hit with Fox getting hit but even so they will just use bacon saver or something else still not the biggest problem. This was such a easy fix. For DM put Circle at 2 and keep Illusion at 2 so they have to really decide what to keep in. Shiranui Spectral and Squire at 2.... freakin problem solved.

Neos now can't carry Crimson Fox anymore, which is kind of a big deal since Crimson Fox is currently their best material for Brave Neos, allowing easy OTK.

Well, losing just because you had an attack position monster is kinda funny.
Lunarlight fusion at very least only valid if opponent had an extra deck monster.

Pls Konami do this limited only for ranked duels not standard duels or legendary duelist duels at gate. Massivemorph is really useful in Ra farming deck.

It has been a regular minibox card for months, probably a year even. Your "I pay for selection box" argument no longer applies.

As for Crystal Wing, I think they're saving it for a potential Arc-V world with Yugo as one of the characters.

It was available through selection box sometimes before that. I'm pretty sure of it. Because I don't think I would have spent so much on a selection box during that period if it wasn't for something at least as strong as trunade. Unless it was for another card. I don't remember very well.

And xyz era hasn't even come yet. I guess i could hope more for Areadbhair earlier then, as Aschalon came sooner than Crystal wing in Duel link in spite of its card release date

I really don't understand how the blackwings got nerfed 20 DAYS after their box release, and the DM deck is still tier 1 deck after 6 months

BW's only hit didn't even affect the deck at all. They don't absolutely need any of the other limited 2 cards, and the deck runs just fine even with only 1 Raikiri.

Honestly it's kinda funny Konami does that hit, considering how much they are trying to push Dragunity in OCG/TCG, even giving the archetype its Structure Deck R, when there are more old structure decks more deserving of getting the R treatment.

So instead of limiting or maybe banning trunade, they limit lance instead.
Honestly if they feel trunade is powerful, just ban it. This will keep going on everytime an otk deck released.
