Bandit Kweef | Masked Tribute | June 2 |
A comment from Bandit Kweef:
You always always ALWAYS want to see the normal summonable warrior because he gets your engine going. Basically, if you see the warrior you’ll probably win, especially if you also have the subterror trap. Cyclone, paleo, and FTT are tech cards for AGs, easily this decks worst matchup.

A comment from Francesko:
Easiest KOG, lost only 3 from Leg1 to Leg3.
You can replace bad aims with some sort of backrow removal depending on what you are struggling with, good cards in the mirror match though. I would definitely include at least 1 Econ, great in mirrors and yubel matchups. Just be patient and you can beat any deck, focus on using your traps vs ancient gears and that's it - tier 0.

Hylianer | Masked Tribute | June 8 |
A comment from Hylianer:
Low Budget Subterror Deck, so only 2 Umastryx and 2 Subterror Traps. But 2 Umas are enough and Desert Sunlight is a great replacement and addition for the trap.
E-Con for stealing monsters and use them with the warrior or just for defense. Cosmic to remove Dual Wield or Treacherous. Paleozoic and Floodgate against AG and for protection. Besides that, the simple normal low budget build and normal playstyle.

tcmylmz | Masked Tribute | June 21 |
A comment from tcmylmz:
I used subterror-neos fusion because when using classic subterror deck, you use all cards in your hand and if opponent destroys your cards Next turn your field is empty and one card in your hand so nothing to do. I used 1 stygo 2 uma. If your opening hand doesn't have neos fusion or nemesis warrior you can use skill then set stygo. In mirror match neos fusion makes big difference.
Never chain first, calm down and wait right time in mirror match. I used 2 TTH i want to see my opening hand. You can use TTH and sacrifice card which comes from skill then you can chain with nemesis warrior. You can use A/D changer for your floodgated monsters by your enemy.
Also if you don't have subterror final battle in the field and you tribute summon a subterror monster, you can use your A/D changer in graveyard to flip summon the subterror monster so you can use your effect. If there is a canadia in your graveyard you can active subterror final battles to recall Canadia to field.

CheesyYugi | Masked Tribute | June 24 |
A comment from CheesyYugi:
This deck has so many combos with Econ taking and Needle ceiling. Needle ceiling can be used after you have nemesis warrior & control another monster on the field to tribute for a monster Face Down and protect yourself while you destroy their monster. ECON allows you to Econ take their boss monster with a monster you control while controlling nemesis warrior & tribute off their monster as well to summon a monster face down.

Prince Ahmed | Masked Tribute | June 26 |
A comment from Prince Ahmed:
Deck explanation: Apart from having the necessary core cards for Subterrors you should have a six sense of what type of face downs or opening hands your opponent might have. I used Wild Tornado since I don't have Galaxy or Cosmic. Enemy Controller, the masked tribute skill and Subterror Nemesis warrior is a go-to combo.

nsrangel KOA | Heavy Starter | June 29 |
A comment from nsrangel KOA:
Note: Dynatherium in some cases is a toolbox better than Masked Tribute, including mirror matches. You can special summon it anytime and normal summon a Nemesis or tribute summon a Stygo. Umastryx was my choice for Heavy Starter.

Flash⚡ | Sealed Tombs | June 7 |
A comment from Flash⚡:
Complete tools deck. Scoop the field with Black Rose Dragon if u face Subterror, blue eyes, Koaki Neos. Sealed tombs for OTK with Gilasaurus and negate effect neos fusion or bacon saver.
Photon Cerberus surprising if u feel TTH on the field. Sangan is good engine search, Junk Destroyer and Vermilion amazing for AG and Yubel. Run smoothly, WCS is a good place to test this deck and clap for KoG with this version. Really funny deck!

Hexie | Sealed Tombs | June 12 |
A comment from Hexie:
Synchrons are poggers right now. Can defeat anything going second.
Against Subs and Metaphys use BRD to blow their board, most of the time they cannot comeback after that.
Against Red-Eyes, if you can't otk them, use Hyper Psychic Riser. It blocks their Slash from equipping monsters and is good to generate resources for future turns.
I play only 2 chickens 'cause I don't have more of them.

Vertrðfurr+ | It's a Toon World | June 4 |
A comment from Vertrðfurr+:
With the flood of Blue-Eyes, Red-Eyes, and Subterrors in the ladder, Toons have all the freedom they want to jump over all monsters and go for direct attacks without the ultimate fear of infinite backrow cards crippling them every turn.
Red-Eyes and Blue-Eyes decks don't run many traps, Subterrors rely on target removal, which Toon Kingdom negates completely. The deck has awful matchup against Ancient Gears and any Weevil/Odion deck that has a lot of backrow. Out of all the meta decks, Blue-Eyes can be the tricky one because of Dragon Spirit of White's removal, but it's nowhere near as frustrating as Ancient Gears.
My main focus with this version of Toons was to OTK as soon as possible using Red-Eyes Toon Dragon + Concentrating Current. Most people will let one attack go through even if they have some kind of disruption backrow; either they're planning a comeback, or wanting a skill to activate. However, Concentrating Current always catches them by surprise if activated during damage step. Also, a LOT OF PEOPLE forget that Toon Kingdom completely negates any effect that targets Toons! Get Kingdom out ASAP when going against Subterrors!
A quick final comment: Demise of the Land is a nifty card that can bypass Toon Kingdom's "banish 3 cards from top of the deck" effect when its activated, though I do not suggest running too many copies, since the card is completely dead if you already have a way of getting Kingdom on the field.

Jander | Destiny Draw | June 26 |
A comment from Jander:
The base of the deck is using Triamid Master and Triamid Pulse to clear the field and using the 3 different field spell cards to protect your monsters or rising their atk. The ideal starting hand is Pulse, 2 fields and a monster. I'm playing destiny draw to avoid drawing the wrong card when you are losing. You also can play it with Balance but I think it is consistent enough. It's a lot of fun because Triamids are new for most of the people.
