Do you know why the game feels so bad?
Because all strong decks are built on the same principle: don't let your opponent play at all.
How often did you lose before you even managed to do something, or were completely locked from any actions.
There will always be a best deck. That will never change. If your deck of choice can't compete with the top decks, you chose poorly. There are plenty of decks that aren't immediately blown out by the top tier decks. It just takes some understanding of how the meta decks work.

I just said how it works, try to strain your brain at least once in your life
I have a lot of top decks, including Blue eyes and Subterror.
Good luck playing against this when it has all the cards for the combo on the first turn.
I do agree... All the multiple card just to increase the possibility to get combo card on the first turn... Sadly, the international Yu-Gi-Oh! Championship used to win some round with just few turn...
.
I wish Konami will categorize about duel PVP based on generation of Yu-Gi-Oh! card.
.
Remember when we were happy when we could farm Axe Raider the SR Card from Kaiba? That card is just garbage now
