Event Details

Announced in late November, the new Duelist Chronicles event is going to happen this coming December, called "Duelist Chronicles! Battle City." Which will be about the battle city arc of the first generation Yu-Gi-Oh! anime/manga. The event will most likely work similarly to the previous event: "Duelist Chronicles: Set Sail for the Kingdom!"

Set Sail for the Kingdom Event

It's an event where you can experience the story, based on the anime/manga, by dueling against the CPUs in Duel World to obtain dices to advance, as well as earning coins for the lottery to earn exclusive card rewards.

Event Flow

1Collect Dice Fragments by dueling in Duel World and Ranked Duels.
2Use Dice Fragments to roll 1-3.
3Move along the board earning Millenium Coins
4Collect Millenium Coins and try you luck with the Card Lottery
5Earn Zone Reward for each zone that you clear.

After the second round and on, stop at the gate to the Treasure Room space to enter the Rare Hunters' Treasure Room and gather many Millenium Coins!

  • Rolling the dice inside the Rare Hunters' Treasure Room will only cost 1 Dice Fragment.

To the difficulty fetishists: please consider that by making the obligatory CPU battles overly difficult, they're getting in the way of players who want to simply unlock Arkana, the event's main reward. You can pick to fight them at level 20, but that brainwashed Joey part 2 is absurdly strong/extremely difficult even at level 20.

Didn't you watch the scene from this event? Kaiba received Obelisk from Isis, and Yugi obtain Osiris after defeating String. If this event proceeds to Battle City Final, then we'll get a possibility to even see Marik Ishtar.
