Dark Magic Curtain didn't work for me when Arkana was using it, I had Dark magician girl on my hand, and dark magician in my deck, I could not summon any of them!!

If you are thinking of the anime rules for the Dark Magic Curtain magic card, that card won't work.

Yeah, I’ve had many problems where this card won’t activate and have lost many games due to this issue. Right when my turn would begin I would try to use this card and the game wouldn’t let me. I’ve email konami many times about this and they only response I’ve got was an automated email saying it’ll take them a couple weeks to email me back. That shows me that they don’t really care.

If you normal summon a monster before using it you can’t use it for the rest of the turn, “you can’t summon a monster the turn you use this card (but you can set)” meaning you must set a monster if you want to use it

This cards negative effects are to harsh in this game, others get to summon for nothing lol, master of magicians should be able to activate without the LP loss to make dm viable, if they won’t add better spell/trap support for him, they can at least do that.

This card is damn old. Back then, cards that let you summon level 7+ monsters always had drawbacks. And the Yu-Gi-Oh rule is: "If it isn't broken, it won't get fixed"

Dark Magician cards and “broken” have and never will correlate with each other. They garbage XD

This card has many problems. Inability to be used the turn Rod searches it. Completely bricks when you have 3 DM in the hand (Should allow you to summon from GY and Hand as well). The life point cost isn't bad if there's a skill to match it, master of magicians is good but the randomness makes it unreliable.

I still don't get who the hell at Shueisha/NAS/Konami thought it was a good idea to restrict this card's effect to Dark Magician only when this card is printed in real life, even though Atem clearly used it to summon Dark Magician Girl.

This card is bugged, my opponent was using grit and his lp was 1 and still used this card like nothing WTFF!!!!?

Your LP total always rounds up in YGO. (Which makes sense from a math standpoint anyway, the nearest whole number to 0.5 is 1 anyway).

The amount of LP you are considered to have paid is ALSO rounded up to 1, incidentally. (Which is relevant for cards like Life Absorbing Machine, and likely the Skill thresholds in Duel Links, should you have lost exactly 1799 LP or something prior.)

Dark magician curtain should also make dog immune to card effects spells and traps imo considering the amount you have to pay is way to much in this fast pace game

You can't. If you don't have enough lp to activate a card effect and still have some left over, the game won't let you.
