Pros

One of a few monsters that have an effect destroying a monster your opponent controls in current card pool of Duel Links.

Cons

  • You do not get to chose the target when its effect activates.

Tips

  • While setting this card is recommended, sometimes placing it in attack position and killing it off into your opponents high attack creatures can be a really good tempo play if it doesn't kill you.
  • Regretful Rebirth can be used if there are multiple enemies you want to destroy.

Tea's Holy Guard skill

By using the Tea's Holy Guard skill, you can use the effect of a Yomi Ship actively. During you turn, get a Yomi Ship to attack an attack position monster that has higher attack than that of it. The Yomi Ship is destroyed in a battle, and the monster that defeats the Yomi Ship is also destroyed. You do not receive battle damage for the effect of Holy Guard skill.

I still use it whenever I play Bakura with Fiend Farewell. Gets a card into the graveyard to help summon Necrofear and has the added bonus of destroying a monster.

now this card is useless

This card is basically outclassed by Exploder Dragon now, so why should it be banned and that card is okay?

Just because you're salty doesn't mean the card deserves to be banned

Even more underrated as it seems, this card is a great econ bait and even a mirror wall counter! If your opponent has only one monster on the field and you can special summon this with Hammer shark, you can attack with yomi ship for either a guaranteed 🔥 or a wasted windstorm/econ/risk-free mirror wall.

Great card. My pvp opponents usually spend a lot of resources to get their biggest monster only to run into this. This often turns the game around.
