yes but no atk boost

It adds an extra Umi to your deck. You can only have 3 UMI/LEgendary Oceans combined because Legendary ocean is always treated as umi, including for deck count.

No it is only treat as umi when on field so you can have 3 of this card and total of 3 of UMI/LEgendary Oceans

Ssa can benefit?

Yea... So Menace from the deep skill doesn't recognize this card as Umi? That's a bug right? It says right on the card it's Umi but it won't let me activate the skill.

I would go as far as to say this is a staple in any water beatdown deck. It offers protection from econ, OtC, headlong, mask of the accursed, michizure, and most importantly, relinquished and that blue doll that bakura uses. This card has saved my 🔥 more times that I can remember, but it does have a huge drawback that you don't get your card back until your end phase.

And no, this doesn't work with daedalus. When this card is destroyed, the banished monster doesn't come back.

Is this card good now?
ABC
Well if the opponent uses something like order to charge, I think you can banish you monster to save it from being destroyed.

How do you use this card if it gets destroyed by daedalus effect?

Water deck
Can be used to remove a monster that you control and then use water hazard's effect: effectively gives you a free summon but only worth it for daedulus nuke
