Paleozoic cards are trap cards that can be special summoned as level 2 aqua type normal monsters, which will get boosted by Wetlands. This will make them all to 2400 attack. They can also be easily summon and are unaffected by monster effects.
Frog monsters are mostly low level aqua type monsters. They have some pretty decent effects and will have pretty high attack once you have Wetlands active. Submarine Frog will be 2400 attack piercer monster, and Unifrog can destroy spell/trap your opponent controls.
Wetlands can be good in a water deck as well. Hammer Shark helps special summon low level Aqua type monsters to summon monsters like Star Boy. Star Boy increases your Water monsters' attack by 500, including itself. When you have Wetlands active, Star Boy will be a 2250 level 2 monster.
