I still hadn't realized consistent ways of getting rid of monsters that have both high attack and high defense. It continues to be hard for me but less so now.

Note: All cards listed are merely suggestions for the deck, and not entirely necessary to run a proper Des Gardius deck. The skill, while being the most useful for the deck IMHO, is likewise not necessary, should anyone find a skill they prefer over Masked Tribute.

Skill and Monster suggestions should be straightforward in reasoning. Spells/Traps mitigate the expense of Masked Tribute via allowing one to either double-utilize spells/traps from the grave, replace one's tributes with the opponent's monsters, and/or reuse tributes from the grave. Mask of Remnants provides a contingency, should Des Gardius leave the field via any means.

No, Yami Marik uses it in the first "Mind Game" episode vs Mai Valentine in Season 2.

He summons the Masked Beast, she destroys his face-downs with Harpie's Feather Duster, and then Mask of Remnants activates and equips to her Dark Dunames Witch.

This card has always been a Semi-Nomi in OCG, TCG just printed it incorrectly.

TCG text in DL has been fixed to make it a Semi-Nomi, though.
