How to beat/farm Aster Phoenix Lvl 40

• Immediately use Labyrinth Builder at the start of the duel, prioritize returning last turn cards to deck when using this skill.
• Get Dimension Gate and Acidic Downpour as soon as possible. Dimension Gate lets your Labyrinth Wall avoid getting sucked up by Destiny HERO - Plasma. And Acidic Downpour increases your defense to above Destiny HERO - Dogma's attack.
• Shard of Greed helps you draw faster while Pot of Benevolence is used to return Aster's graveyard cards back to his deck. Use them so that you can deck out faster than Aster.
• During your second to last turn set Summoner of Illusions then remove him with Dimensionhole.
• On your final turn, the removed from play Summoner of Illusions will return. Set Wild Tornado, then use Storm to destroy your backrow along with Aster's, also special summoning Labyrinth Wall back to your field. Use the effect of the destroyed Wild Tornado to destroy Destiny HERO - Plasma.
• Flip Summoner of Illusions and tribute Labyrinth Wall to special summon Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon. Normal Summon Gravekeeper's Vassal then use Secret Pass to the Treasures and 2 Union Attack on him. Direct attack for over 9999 damage assessment.
• Note that this Farm deck will fail if you lose your Labyrinth Wall anytime before you tribute it. It will also fail if either Summoner of Illusions or Dimensionhole is at the bottom of your deck.

• Summon Ojama Knight as early as possible. If summoned early on, he can lock up to 2 unused monster card zones preventing Aster from summoning his boss monsters.
• After that just keep stalling until you deck out. Ojama Blue and Enchanting Fitting Room helps you get Ojamas out of your deck, Fusion Recycling Plant helps you search Polymerization in your deck. You can also use these cards to help fusion summon Ojama Knight.
• During your final turn, have 2 face-up attack position Ojama Knights then use Ojama Country. Normal Summon Gravekeeper's Vassal then use Secret Pass to the Treasures and 2 Union Attack on him. Direct attack for over 9999 damage assessment.
• Ojama deck is much less consistent than Labyrinth Builder, but it does not require a specific skill to use so you can use it with any character to farm skills.
