Tips

Summon Gate Guardian right away. Don't destroy Yami Yugi's monster, and don't summon or set any other monster with low attack unless you plan on using White Elephant's Gift right away. Yami Yugi's Phantom Beast Rock-Lizard will destroy it, inflicting 500 damage to you and lose you the duel. Pass the turns and use the draw cards, perform fusion summon and setting at least 1 Spell Reclamation before the last turn. You can use any normal monster that you have, it doesn't need to be glossy.

Note

Summon unhappy girl as soon as you can, and pass the turns to stall the duel. Get BEUD out before the last turn and leave a monster slot open for vassal. Use vassal and union attack combo on the last turn.

If you don't have union attack, you can use Cu Chulainn with Blue-Eyes White Dragon, ritual weapon and riryoku instead.

Note

  • If you don't get Cerberus in your starting hand, set an Enchanted Javelin to make sure you don't take more than 4,000 damage.
  • Keep using spells until you are left with 0 cards left in deck, then use Stop Defense so that a monster can be attack. Use Riryoku on it and equip Shooting Star Bow - Ceal on that monster as well.
  • You can also just equip Shooting Star Bow - Ceal to the Cerberus if your attack is over 10,500 to bypass enemies and be able to attack directly.

So twice now I've tried to tribute the mystical beast serket along with temple of kings to summon BEUD from my extra deck, and both times it says that I do not have any monsters to special summon...help please?

Most of your cards in your deck is redundant and pointless. You don't need to put twister and straight flush for farming at all cuz he doesn't even have any annoying continuous trap/spell. And 3 ririyoku is overkill when 1 gift of the martyr can do the same thing easily and give you more card space for spells like murmur of the forest and magician blast.
