I summoned this card with Knights Title and sacrificed my Dark Magician. But it doesn't give me the option to activate it's special ability to destroy a card. Going up against a mythical beast cerberus with 4900 atk and was my only chance of taking it down.

Bug. Sometimes card effect fail to activate. It's annoying, but hopefully the admins fix this problem PERMANENTLY (as opposed to occasionally).

Dark Magician Knight is a "Dark Magician" monster. So why does Eye of Timeus don't work on him?
EoT does require a "Dark Magician" monster. Which means a monster whose name contains "Dark Magician".

Timaeus ask for a "Dark Magician" monster WHOSE NAME IS LISTED AS FUSION MATERIAL ;)

Dark Magician's Knight isn't listed on any Fusion monster as specific material, so that's why you can't use this card :)

If he's played with blue dragon summoner alongside magic mallet and anti magic arrows also throw in ancient rules for some cool one turn 🔥 attack combos just posted this deck formula check it out

Not to mention after you destroyed 1 card with its effect, that's it, it basically becomes the same as the regular Dark Magician, 2500 ATK no effect.
