Junk Synchron, when combined with What Grows in the Graveyard, Akiza Izinski’s unique Skill, can give you direct access to Armades, Keeper of Boundaries, a powerful Synchro Monster with the ability to shut down your opponent cards if it attacks or is attacked.
Use Armades to shut down the opponent’s backrow and gain control of the field with various removal effects.

What Grows in the Graveyard Begin the Duel with 1 "Dark Verger" in your Graveyard. | Akiza Izinski |
Junk Synchron is a Level 3 Tuner that, when Normal Summoned, allows you to Special Summon a Level 2 or lower monster from your Graveyard. How do I get a Level 2 or lower monster there in the first place though? You don’t have to worry about that because, thanks to What Grows in the Graveyard, you will begin the Duel with a copy of Dark Verger in your Graveyard.
Use Junk Synchron and Dark Verger to Special Summon Armades, Keeper of Boundaries; Dark Verger will be sent to the Graveyard again, ready for your next turn.
Armades is a Level 5 Synchro that is able to prevent your opponent from activating cards or effects until the end of the Damage Step if it attacks or is attacked; your opponent will not be able to use Sphere Kuriboh, Drowning Mirror Force, Widespread Ruin and Wall of Disruption, but you will still have access to your own Spell & Trap Cards.
If you destroy Silent Magician by battle, its effect will not activate and your opponent will not be able to Special Summon Silent Magician LV8; you can attack freely into a face-down Man-Eater Bug or Snowman Eater with Armades because they won’t be able to activate their effects and destroy it.
Paleozoic Canadia, Floodgate Trap Hole, Treacherous Trap Hole, Enemy Controller and Spellbook of Fate are the best ways to deal with this Synchro Monster, but they don’t necessarily leave you without a follow-up play.
A generic Level 7 Synchro that, once per turn, can destroy Field Spells active on both sides of the field and make you gain 1000 Life Points. Ancient Fairy Dragon is an interesting answer to Vampire Kingdom and Fire King Island.
You can use Paleozoic Canadia and Enemy Controller to slow down your opponent or to make aggressive plays. You can Special Summon Paleozoic Canadia from your Graveyard as a Level 2 monster by chaining it to another Trap Card and then either use it to attack your opponent or as Synchro Material.
2300 ATK is not bad for a Level 5 monster, but Armades, Keeper of Boundaries is incapable of naturally getting over monsters such as Dragon Spirit of White, Masked HERO Anki and Blue-Eyes, all of which are very common in the current meta.
Wall of Disruption and Mirror Wall are pretty much needed to keep Armades alive in certain matchups, but you could also use Super Rush Headlong, Widespread Ruin and Sakuretsu Armor.

Pretty much the only Skill you can/want to run with this version of the deck. What Grows in the Graveyard fixes one of the main issues you would encounter with Junk Synchron.
