Notes

You can boost Armades’ attack to make it more threatening during battle with high attack and protection.

Summoning

Armades can be Synchro summoned easily with Junk Synchron, Normal summon Junk Synchron and then use his effect to revive level-2 monster from your graveyard, then use them both as Syncrhro material. There are also a few level-1 Tuners that have inherent special summoning effects. Pair them with level-4 monsters to Synchro summon.

Fiend Support

Here are some cards that support Fiend monsters. If ever Armades is destroyed you can use Doom Shaman or The Puppet Magic of Dark Ruler to revive him.

Call of the Archfiend can also be used to revive Armades while simultaneously loading your graveyard for effects. Dark Ruler Ha Des negates the effects of monsters destroyed by your Fiend-type monsters.

This card doesn't work that well against Yubel lol.

Yubel's second form destroys stuff during the End Phase.

You want to farm Yubel, go with Masked Hero Vapor instead.

Who else remembers the old Akiza what grows in the graveyard armades control deck?

This protection effect must be only for himself. That would explain why I could use my traps against my opponent's other monster while his Armades was face up on the field

Err... Are you perhaps using trap card while NOT attacking armades?
You can even use trap on armades as long as you didn't battle armades, or before armades attacking you.

IMO this card is much better than Adreus, his Xyz counterpart, by the virtue of being easier to summon, and Adreus' ability to destroy any 1 card is easily replaced by many other cards.

Don't know Deskbot at all.
If you want a F2P version that is as good or better in some situation go for Samurai Destroyer.

armades cannot destroy and negate monsters that cannot be destroyed by battle and reflect damage effect of amazon swordswoman...
in short armades cannot negate effects that are passive like reflect damage and monsters that cannot be destroy effect

armades and ua mighty slugger can only negate activation and effect but they cannot negate the continious passive effect of faceup monster like reflect damage and monsters that cannot be destroyed by battle

i already try it i atk using armades with swordswoman and it reflect my damage to me also i cannot destroy yubel and i have no damage attacking an atk position 2nd yubel to 0dmg

What happens if I attack armades with ua slugger ?armades says when this card is attacked , meaning it activates when I attack ,correct ?does my ua slugger effect of no cards activate when this card attacks until the damage step is not negated cause of armades? And also does slugger effect even activate or it's just considered continuous ?

Technically I used this card against it and it prevented amazoness swordswomen from using its ability even if its not activation unless its a cannot be destroyed by battle type of effect try the same thing with reactor dragon or samurai destroy the result will be the same except destroy negates all abilities including invulnerability

Well, it doesn't negate anything like samurai destroyer.
Effect that already activated by its own never went into activation phase anymore, which this card preventing in the first place.
