Notes

  • You need Unhappy Girl and Spirit Barrier face-up on your field to stall. If both are on your field, you can attack into Kalin's monsters with Unhappy Girl to lock them.
  • Heal every turn with Golden Ladybug.
  • Use Rai-Mei to search out Unhappy Girl. if you already have Unhappy Girl on the field, you can use Rai-Mei to search Golden Ladybug.
  • Set Crystal Seer to search thin your deck and make sure Unhappy Girl is not at the bottom of your deck.
  • Draining Shield is good for stalling if you don't have your stall setup ready, or when Kalin uses Infernity Break to mess with your setup.
  • You must have 3 monsters on the field before your final turn.
  • On your final turn, Summon The Winged Dragon of Ra with 3 monsters as tribute and give him your accumulated LP.
  • Remember to use Anti-Magic Arrows at the start of your final battle phase.

  • Destroy Yubel in your hand to special summon Yubel - The Ultimate Nightmare from your deck.
  • Search out Yubel with Sangan.
  • Use Fire King Island or Fire King Avatar Yaksha to destroy Yubel in your hand.
  • Search out Fire King Island with Planet Pathfinder.
  • You can destroy Fire King Avatar Yaksha in your hand with Fire King Island to search another copy and thin your deck.
  • Special Summon Montage Dragon during your final turn by discarding 3 Yubel monsters.
  • Normal Summon Sangan or Planet Pathfinder and give that monster to your opponent with the effect of Shien's Spy.
  • Boost Montage Dragon's attack with Back-Up Rider then attack the monster you gave your opponent.

Yeah you can add one against depth amulet, but he usually clogs up his backrow before he draws into that card

Can confirm this deck works very well.

Man, these commebts weren't kidding. He is hard to farm. Even if you get rid of his monster with either Yubel 2 form or that pink Cloudian monster by removing 2 fog counters, he is going to revive his archer for more 2000 direct attacks (or 3000 if he uses his syncro and copies archer's effect). It seems safe to use Amazoness Ra and banish as many monsters as possible.

does anybody think a turbo power tool dragon deck would be good to farm against kalin? you can use ptd to search power of the guardians, equip and atk his monsters to go up to 10000 atk. if he tries to destroy your monster with infernity break you can remove a counter to protect it

I'm using it and it does nets 5-6k points and I've already got 2 mirages this way... The thing is you need genex neutron to search tuner, like scopen or other machine tuner

This has got to be the easiest event boss ever. Other then Zero-Max + Infernity Archer, he has nothing good for beatdown or card clear. In the 30 or so times I dueled him he summoned Thousand Eyes Dragon once and I immediately smashed it. I just run Aromage for fun so it works pretty well. Not even sure why this site has all the farming decks listed since its so easy.

Done. Easy with Unhappy Girl. Don't summon more than one UG until late game when Kalin has one or more card in his hand. If he uses Zero Max or Infernity Break to destroy your UG, just summon another one and start attacking all his monsters with it so your third monster won't be attacked by his monsters
