Notes

  • The goal is to setup a field with A Legendary Ocean, Sea Stealth Attack, and 2 Level 5 or higher WATER monsters.
  • Restart to get a better hand. It would be best to Restart to try getting Sea Stealth Attack since it cannot be searched.
  • Use Warrior of Atlantis to search A Legendary Ocean.
  • You can special summon Citadel Whale with his own effect to search out Sea Stealth Attack from your deck.
  • After you completed your setup Ishizu will not attack you even with her protected Gravekeeper's Visionary.
  • Do not attack Gravekeeper's Recruiter or Ishizu might deck out quicker. Do not attack face-down cards because they might be Gravekeeper's Recruiter.
  • If Ishizu reduces your attack with Gravekeeper's Oracle, you can banish those monsters during your turn with Sea Stealth Attack to return them to their original attack.
  • Use Murmur of the Forest to flip Gravekeeper's Priestess face-down and/or return Necrovalley to the hand, so that your Gravekeeper's Vassal does not go over the limit of Secret Pass.

Notes

  • Always try to start with at least 1 Array of Revealing Light and 1 Guardian Statue/Medusa Worm in your hand.
  • With Array of Revealing Light always declare Spellcaster-type.
  • The main idea is that Ishizu cannot attack with her Spellcaster-type monsters the turn she summons them. You will then use Guardian Statue/Medusa Worm to remove them from the field during your turn, and then flip your monster face-down again for reuse. Make sure you clear Ishizu's field every turn.
  • It is best to use Guardian Statue on Gravekeeper's Recruiter so that Ishizu Does not deck out first.
  • Use A Feint Plan, Windstorm of Etaqua, and Curse of Anubis to stall with your set monster.
  • It is best to always have 2 Flip monsters on the field.
  • On your final turn, flip any Guardian Statue/Medusa Worm you have and clear Ishizu's field. Acvtivate Temple of the Kings then tribute into Mythical Beast Serket.
  • With Temple of the King's effect, send it and Serket to the graveyard to special summon Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon.
  • Use Double Summon to summon Gravekeeper's Vassal.
  • Remember to use Anti-Magic Arrows during your final Battle Phase.

  • Never allow Ishizu declare an attack with Gravekeeper's Assailant on The Unhappy Girl.
  • If you put prefer winning legitimately to getting high score, replace Union Attack combo with other methods such as Riryoku to win.
  • Rai-Mei's effect may not work due to the effect of Necrovalley.

I can confirm that the Pumer deck is quite consistent with a high win rate.

I've personally been using something similar to the Piranha deck to farm Ishizu. The deck list is below.

Pretty simple logic of using Leotaur and Warrior to keep clearing the board (clear Necrovalley if and when needed). You want to summon Blue Eyes as soon as possible (Replace Sheep if you have 3. Kaiba hasn't given me my third yet). Once Blue Eyes is down you can just keep clearing with it and set Overwhelm to prevent Rite of Spirit into a tribute summon (Sphere Kuriboh is a back up).

When summoning BEWD tribute Leotaurs if you can, if not then just make sure 2 are in the graveyard via 7 card hand discards.

You will want 2 Shards of Greed at least to keep up with the GK Recruiters she has so you can get down to Cards on Brink before she decks out.

Once you get to the point of deckout she should have only one monster on the field (just set from her previous turn).

You can then use a twister/de-spell to take out the Necrovalley. Special Summon Akz The Pumer. Use Riryoku BEWD->Akz. Then Polymerize to create BEUD. Use Riryoku BEUD->Akz. Now use Akz' ability to double its attack and discard the last Leotaur kept in hand (or another Beast-Warrior if you don't have 3 Leotaurs) and Akz will have over 10,000 attack. Use the 2250 BEUD to clear the set monster and attack with Akz for victory.

@Frive101 - Replacing Leotaur is pretty difficult. The only current option would have to be Battle Ox. With 1700 attack and no Necrovalley it can deal with everything except for a defense position Priestess. So it's a little risky, because if you can't 🔥 that she might then be able to summon Visionary or Oracle.

@Anonymous - In terms of Riryoku, nothing can replace that loss of 1500 points :(

This deck helped me beat lv40 Ishizu without much trouble. The idea is to get Angel 7 on the field asap & LumiSoldier as a 2600 beatstick. Plus keeping Necro off the field. Angel 7 prevents the majority of her effects except Priestess' & Visionary's buffs. Btw, Visionary is the only real prob after either Angel7 or Lumi hits the field, small chance she will summon him but def worth noting.

And that answer is simply because:
Angel 7 is an effect monster and, even tho I have 2 Light Effigy, Effigies in general work for Normal Monsters ONLY. However, if I expanded by 2 more cards it wouldn't be a bad Idea as a backup.

Seriously tho guys, think outside the deck. This build may not get to 10k (which some actually can if you work for it), but swarming RE & BE fast can shut Ishizu down faster and Oracle won't be any trouble.

Does Necrovalley negate Ryu's actual ability or something? The moment I attacked its ability never triggered (couldn't discard) so instead of over 5k, it only pulled 1200 from its attack. :(

this deck can be better.. however it is doing 6k, and it is very safe... u will need to 🔥 10 ishizu's gravekeepers to get more score. ( sorry about my english =P )

Idk about 5000 points, but I used the BEWD and Kazejin deck for at least 4000. I took out the Overwhelms for 2 Riryoku and a stop defense, and took two stray lambs for Windstorm of etaquia and a Curse of Anubis. I used dealt some damage with Bewd and Kazejin, and then stalled with Kazejin once Ishizu was under 2400 LP. stop defense to 🔥 a low level on the field, boosted with Visionary Riryoku
