The key to use this deck is to firsthand know how The Unhappy Girl and Holy Guard work together. During your turn, you can attack any monster with the Unhappy Girl to make them unable to attack or change positions. Thanks to Holy Guard, you take no damage provided that the battle damage was dealt during your turn.
You stall throughout and deal the massive blow to your opponent on the last turn so as to achieve the "Cards on the brink" and "More than 5000 damage dealt" assessment.
What happens if Unhappy Girl is not in my hand?
If Unhappy Girl is not in your starting hand, you can try to prolong the duel by using cards such as the following:
Windstorm of Etaqua *Windstorm of Etaqua is your go-to card for any attack negation when Ishuzu attacks your Unhappy Girl.
Curse of Anubis *Curse of Anubis is similar to Windstorm of Etaqua but more likely for situations where you do not have your Unhappy Girl on the field. Doing so with her on the field will reset the effects of the Unhappy Girl, allowing Ishizu to attack you with her current monsters again.
Ready for Intercepting *Ready for Intercepting can be used defensively. It can block an instance of attack and it can also force the selected monster to remain face-down as long as the effects of Unhappy Girl persist.
Enchanted Javelin *Enchanted Javelin helps to sustain your LP which is critical as Ishizu may attack your Unhappy Girl even if the damage dealt will not be lethal. This card is considered as a back-up for situations like the abovementioned.
Preparations before the final turn
Temple of the Kings must be present in order to summon Mystical Beast of Serket, otherwise Mystical Beast of Serket will be automatically destroyed, so keep that in mind. In the event that Temple of the Kings happens to be the last card in your deck, you can set Serket first and then flip it next turn. To be safe, you should immediately use the effect of Temple of the Kings to special summon Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon as soon as the criterias are met. It must stay on the field before the final turn.
Normal summon Gravekeeper's Vassal and activate Secret Pass to the Treasures and use it on the Gravekeeper's Vassal, followed by Union Attack. This way, it is able to deal direct "effect" damage of 5200 to your opponent.
Because Gravekeeper's Shaman can prevent it from working. You're right, you could use something like Gravelstorm or Spiritualism if you really don't want to use Murmur for some reason, but it ultimately doesn't matter.
Actually, in a UG deck, your opponent monster would be in attack position anyway.. Instead of secret pass/ spell removal, why not add more union attack or damage and crash head on? That's how I farm her
For some reason using SECRET PASS on my UNHAPPY GIRL, RELINQUISHED or really any monster isn't working. I use it before using UNION ATTACK. When I attack direct there is no damage dealt at all. What is going on? Does this only work with VASSAL?
I love how this fails to mention to make sure you save Mur Mur because if she has Necrovalley on the field when you're going for the final attack Gravekeepers attack will be up by 200 making it 1200 and making it unable to use Secret pass....
IMPORTANT: Save Murmur of the Forest for the last turn. Ishizu will most likely have Necrovalley on the field, and that raises your Vassal's attack to 1200, so Secret Pass won't work and you will by unable to attack directly with Vassal.
Use ceal arc... And no need murmur of forest and secret pass

Temple of the King didn't work for me either, I think it was because I activated a trap earlier that turn. Although the trap was one I had set on an earlier turn, so it shouldn't have triggered Temple's effect. I'm guessing it's a bug.
