Tips

Use The Unhappy Girl to stall turns. It can easily be pulled out of deck using Rai-Mei until you can summon Mystical Beast of Serket and increase its attack.
While using Holy Guard skill to back up your Unhappy girl and continue stalling turns, use Enchanted Javelin and Soul of the Pure to recover from Amphibious Bugroth MK-3 attack.
To obtain the high duel assessment, summon Gravekeeper's Vassal on the last turn (when there is no card on your deck) and use Secret Pass to the Treasures to it, along side Mystical Beast of Serket, activate the effect of Temple of the Kings to summon Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon and then use your Spell Reclamation on Union Attack twice on your Gravekeeper's Vassal to have more than 10,000 damage.

Tips

Using the standard Dino deck with "Dinosaur Kingdom" skill, you can already dominate against all of Mako's monsters.
Use Cu Chulainn or other cards that can deal more than 5,000 damage to get a high score to farm Mako!

His lv40 deck is so lame and weak. I can't believe Konami didn't put legendary ocean or other better water effect monsters into his decks.

Why would you use Union Attack + Vassal instead of Gift of the Martyr and Piranha Army? You only need one GotM rather than 2 union or 1 + spell reclamation? I get that PA wasn't available for a while but neither was US. Other than for the effect damage mission, it makes no sense to me

I've been farming this clown all day with 7000-8000 pay offs each time and he hasn't dropped any SR or UR cards! Nor have I got any skills off him! Grrr!!

Trying to get suprise present 4 losses cause keeps bringing out 2 of his direct attackers making it impossible

Here's my version of the dino deck. 100% consistent win rate.
Note : i don't have twister or a 3rd de-spell so i use treaty on uniform trap card. also, if you have 2 ritual weapon. replace rising energy with a 2nd one or vice versa.

3. Ritual Summon Cu chu
4. Secret pass to treasure > cu chu
5. Riryoku blue eyes > Cu chu
6. Gift of martyr > blue eyes > Cu chu

The Cerberus deck works as well for 10000 damage. Mako only has magic cards which he will not activate with Cerberus on the field. I have not had an issue with bugroth attacking directly.

How do i battle mako level 40? I've unlocked him as a playable character awhile ago but he's not in the duel gate.

If you haven't figured it out yet, you can't open the gate with same character that you are trying to face. Mako with Mako, or Rex with Rex ect.

you need to get to stage 30 and you will unlock level 40 Legendary Duelists - domenichenry
