Jesse is not that hard to defeat/farm, but note that you can use only characters in GX world to fight against him.

Notes

Special summon Dark Necrofear in defense position as soon as you can. It is unlikely that Jesse will be able to summon anything strong enough to get over your 2800 defense.
Activate Yami to further boost Dark Necrofear's attack and defense.
Even if he does you can simply take it during the end phase.
Keep setting Dark Mimic LV1, Dark Mimic LV3, and Doomdog Octhros so you deck out faster and fuel the summoning of Dark Necrofear.
Sphere Kuriboh, Kuriboh or Windstorm of Etaqua are used to stall turns. Sphere Kuriboh and Kuriboh can also be used as cost to special summon Dark Necrofear
On the final, have 2 Dark Necrofear in face up attack position with Yami active. Then summon Gravekeeper's Vassal and use Secret Pass to the Treasures and 2 Union Attacks on him, then direct attack for 9999+ damage.

Must be nice...I've gotten over 7 copies of most of the cards, but zero rainbow life (aka the only usable card he drops) so far.

This, Rex and Arkana were a 🔥ing cuntz, just 1 destroyersaurus, not a single DM and the other 1k damage from spells guy and now this

Personal opinion: (1) Crystal beasts is quite a unique and interesting archetype. If possible collect them all, who knows one day they become new meta deck. (2) event is a free way to farm skills (screenshot)
