terrible card in this format. it is required that you special summon the number of crystal beast destroyed so the best time to use this card is when it has 1 counter and you have 1 cb in your s/t zone. (resulting in 2 cb in s/t). if you wait till you have 2 counters, you wont be able to activate this cards effect unless the 2 cb that were destroyed are no longer on your field. had trouble using it in ocg, i can only imagine it being worse here
That's because Crystal Beast is played in 5 slot format, duel links need to change format for Crystal Beasts to function at all. This card takes up 1 slot in your spell/trap zone then you have less protection for your monsters.
exactly, but I dont think they will increase zones. heck ocg just gained a 6th zone and people started abusing it. adding a 4th or 5th zone in this game would shift it to support decks that can spam monsters out.
