Pinch Hopper won't work!

When the event was held last time, Pinch Hopper was used to lockdown Yami Bakura Lvl 40. Now it's fixed, and he attacks it! We are now preparing new decks to farm, kindly share your ideas!

You need to have Pinch Hopper in attack mode, otherwise...

And here is my Pinch Hopper deck. Could have replaced the 4 healings with Magic Jammers but we need the healings in case we begin first and not have the Pinch Hopper in our hands yet. I prefer Berries and Rain of Mercy over Enchanted Javelin since it is possible for him to destroy all copies of Javelin by using his spell card. We take some damage in order to trigger the skill: Draw Sense Earth.

The one with 2 union attacks, what can I replace one berry and 2 rain of mercy with?
ALso what do you use dimensionhole, storm, and mirror for?
What does your last hand look like? (how do you stay alive with only 3 insect cards with 1k attack?

There is a glitch regarding this insect card and the AI will not attack it, similar to the Spirit Ryu one before the update.
Your goal is to summon that insect on the field so Bakura will not attack you.
Use the healings in order to make sure you survive long enough to either normal draw the insect card or use Draw Sense Earth.

If you have the insect card in your starting hand you may not need any healings at all.
Then you need to protect your insect from Tribute to the Doomed. This is why we run multiple copies of Riryokou Field, Fairly Mirror and Magic Jammer. Just stall that way until you have only one card left in your deck. Then set (not summon) the Summoner of Illusions and immediately use Dimension Hole on him.

On the last turn you flip the Summoner, activating it's effect to special summon the Ultimate Dragon from your extra deck by tributing your insect. Then normal summon Vassal, use Secret Pass and the two Union Attacks. Finally use storm to clean up his back row so he cannot use any trap cards to stop the final blow.
The only way for this method to fail is if the Summoner is your last card!

Knight of Flame has to be gemini summoned to counter Ryu S. Once Ryu is actually in play i don't see how he could possibly double summon him. But maybe I'm missing something.

Just tried it and the last 2 pinch hoppers I had were in the bottom 5 of the deck... so I didn't have one in hand and he tribute to the doomed the pinch hopper. It's risky to lower your life because he was holding the tribute for a while I think...

This deck still need a lot of improvement (please help me with your suggestion).

Use Cat Ear Tribe so bakura won't attack us. Make sure the Cat got an equip card before you summoned it. Use 2 equip card to the Cat and use any glossy field spell.

Hold him like that until the last 2nd turn, then set Summoner Illusion + use Dimensionhole on him.

On the last turn, use storm to clean Bakura's backrow, flip Summoner Illusion, tribute cat ear and summon BEUD. Summon Piranha Army, use secret pass and use 2 riryouku on it. And Direct Attack.

Vassal + 2 union attack will be easier to use.

I been testing the vassal no card in response for activation, and still works in version 1.4, maybe the change is only in 1.5

@anonymous I think they refer to the fact that before the update the AI wouldn't consider a Vassal powered up by Union Attack as a threat so it wouldn't try to stop his attacks even if it could with cards like Sphere Kuriboh or Sakuretsu Armor.
