Jesse is not that hard to defeat/farm, but note that you can use only characters in GX world to fight against him.

Notes

Special summon Dark Necrofear in defense position as soon as you can. It is unlikely that Jesse will be able to summon anything strong enough to get over your 2800 defense.
Activate Yami to further boost Dark Necrofear's attack and defense.
Even if he does you can simply take it during the end phase.
Keep setting Dark Mimic LV1, Dark Mimic LV3, and Doomdog Octhros so you deck out faster and fuel the summoning of Dark Necrofear.
Sphere Kuriboh, Kuriboh or Windstorm of Etaqua are used to stall turns. Sphere Kuriboh and Kuriboh can also be used as cost to special summon Dark Necrofear
On the final, have 2 Dark Necrofear in face up attack position with Yami active. Then summon Gravekeeper's Vassal and use Secret Pass to the Treasures and 2 Union Attacks on him, then direct attack for 9999+ damage.

Cerberus deck + draw sense: light is enough. Add 14 glossy spell and will always 8k

I was excited for the new LD but the fact that my BEUD deck can demolish him from the get-go made it kinda dull, unlike Crowler whose Ancient Gear deck actually rivaled my deck and made the event pretty fun for me.

Just use a normal Cerberus deck....works for me

This works great, it's just an example but you can build it however you want and skill isn't that relevant. Literally Jesse can't do anything

"Guideline" Decks. They often use the cheapest cards you can obtain so that YOU, the Player, can edit it to fit your playstyle & what cards you actually have.

Example: One deck might say use Security Orb, but the somewhat obv better option is Enemy Controller. However, not everyone will able to get that card, so the next best option is Security Orb.

Simple as that.
