Notes

  • Discard Warrior of Atlantis to search out A Legendary Ocean.
  • With A Legendary Ocean on the field, you can summon Level 5 WATER monsters without tribute.
  • Special summon Fortress Whale with his own effect to search out Sea Stealth Attack.
  • Your stall setup should be A Legendary Ocean, Sea Stealth Attack, and up to 2 high-leveled WATER monsters.
  • Keep destroying Syrus' monsters so that he will have less chance to fusion summon.
  • You can use Sea Stealth Attack to temporarily banish your monsters dodging the effects of Shield and Sword and Inverse Universe.
  • Make sure you activate Anti-Magic Arrows during your final battle phase so that Syrus cannot activate No Entry!!.

Notes

  • In order to get 8k+ pts, you will need to destroy 10 monsters and at least 2 glossy cards (even during the +1000 extra campaign bonus), so keep using Medusa Worm more than Guardian Statue.
  • Use Restart skill to make sure you get Array of Revealing Light or Planet Pathfinder. Ideally, with a Medusa Worm or Guardian Statue as well.
  • Use Array of Revealing Light and choose Machine type monsters.
  • Set at least 2 monsters on the field since Syrus has Shield Crush and keep destroying/returning his monsters until the last turn.
  • For monsters Syrus summons with Vehicroid Connection Zone, you will need to use Guardian Statue for non-destruction removal.
  • Summon Planet Pathfinder when you are safe so you can use its effect to thin your deck if you haven't drawn your field spells.
  • On the last turn, it's important to remember to activate Temple of the Kings first before you tribute summon for Serket.
  • Activate Serket's effect to get Oz out and use double Wild Nature's Release to reach 10k damage.

So, Duel Link monster MAX ATK is 65535?

I use Kiseitai - Massive combo. My LP almost 100k (99xxx, I not remember). Lucky with Kiseitai healing total 6000 LP every turn.

Summon RA and use his effect and BOOM not get 99xxx ATK.

I accidentally set the ties that bind for the ra deck. It worked to give ra an extra hundred. 65635.

You were close first guy. It's attack transferrable that's limited to 16bits, attack can go higher :p

I wish I can share you my luck. I lost a duel against Syrus and rewarded with Expressroid....

Then I dueled a lv20 one, won, and get another Expressroid

Such BS...this morning, I just got my ninth LV 30...with 0 LV 40. What the F**K is wrong with this event. Why would a person who is as far along as I am in this game care to play a LV 30 of any character? Not even my standard duelist are LV 30 (They are 39), and I auto duel them and win consistently. There has to be some other factor in why I keep getting LV 30.

I do not want to jinx it, but of the last 5, 3 of them have been LV 40. Still not great for the day so far 3 of 14, but there is a lot of day left.

I'm only missing 2 more Submarineroid and 1 more each of the two Fusions.

I've fought the lv40 one exactly twice, all my other duels with Syrus are against lv20 and lv30.

The point is, dueling lv30 ones isn't an issue. Drops are all based on luck anyway. You can also duel the lv40 one for 10 times straight and never get even a single copy of Inverse Universe and Pair Cycroid for example.

The only one making this a chore is you.

Do it with having fun in mind, regardless of the reward. Drops are all luck based anyway.

Not to mention, unless you want to play roids, you don't even need to have 3 copies of everything. From this event alone, unless you want to play roids, all you need is 2-3 copies of Inverse Universe. Once you have 2-3, you can stop.

for me it worked well with a normal auto duel deck. i farmed him a few times at the beginning, but the drop rate seems better without farming. just missing 1 inverse atm. well, could just be good rng on my side.

He seems to activate No Entry!! at random for some reason. More than a couple of times I've seen him set up for attacks, then No Entry!! and prevent himself from attacking that turn.

Or drop the theorizing and just nuke it with a high ATK boosted Dakini.
He has no monster removal in his deck, you can save 1 arrows for your final attack just in case of No Entry in the backrow.

I'd guess, assuming they don't consider Steamroid too powerful to be at 3 (I'd ASSUME they'd allow it, though we still don't have Goblin Attack Force for some reason), that the next Syrus event will probably have Steam Gyroid, Steamroid and Gyroid available. (The new Crowler event discontinued several Supers and Rares, and it would make sense for Ambulance Rescueroid to be cut.)
