Notes

  • Discard Warrior of Atlantis to search out A Legendary Ocean.
  • With A Legendary Ocean on the field, you can summon Level 5 WATER monsters without tribute.
  • Special summon Fortress Whale with his own effect to search out Sea Stealth Attack.
  • Your stall setup should be A Legendary Ocean, Sea Stealth Attack, and up to 2 high-leveled WATER monsters.
  • Keep destroying Syrus' monsters so that he will have less chance to fusion summon.
  • You can use Sea Stealth Attack to temporarily banish your monsters dodging the effects of Shield and Sword and Inverse Universe.
  • Make sure you activate Anti-Magic Arrows during your final battle phase so that Syrus cannot activate No Entry!!.

Notes

  • In order to get 8k+ pts, you will need to destroy 10 monsters and at least 2 glossy cards (even during the +1000 extra campaign bonus), so keep using Medusa Worm more than Guardian Statue.
  • Use Restart skill to make sure you get Array of Revealing Light or Planet Pathfinder. Ideally, with a Medusa Worm or Guardian Statue as well.
  • Use Array of Revealing Light and choose Machine type monsters.
  • Set at least 2 monsters on the field since Syrus has Shield Crush and keep destroying/returning his monsters until the last turn.
  • For monsters Syrus summons with Vehicroid Connection Zone, you will need to use Guardian Statue for non-destruction removal.
  • Summon Planet Pathfinder when you are safe so you can use its effect to thin your deck if you haven't drawn your field spells.
  • On the last turn, it's important to remember to activate Temple of the Kings first before you tribute summon for Serket.
  • Activate Serket's effect to get Oz out and use double Wild Nature's Release to reach 10k damage.

Stall with Aroma Garden while deep drawing with Aromage Jasmine, until your LP is high enough for Ra's ATK. Don't forget to have Rosemary on the field to beat up Syrus' monsters.

Run cards like Rose Lover and Carrotweight Champion, after summoning Ra you'll want to have another monster on the field to get rid of Syrus' monster before attacking directly with Ra.

I also advise running triple Aroma Garden, and bring Anti-Magic Arrow for when Ra is about to attack. You do NOT want to run into No Entry when you're about to make that finishing attack.

Also, remember that you can play 3 Aroma Garden in one turn. Do that just before you summon Ra. Not on the turn before, but the same turn you want to summon Ra.

And be careful with your deck, do not deep draw too much and ends up having no card to draw. If Jasmine's effect activate when you have no card to draw, you lose the duel.

using it with crowler beatdown, if you dont have shroomo, maybe try fragrance storm(havent tested that).

just keep using the sylvan effects to excavate and keep attacking his stuff. only do combat damage if you have to. last turn you should have 2 big sylvans on your field, play trunade, summon vassal, use pass and 2 union attack. that should give 7-8k.

Aromagus + Ra works too, just keep smashing every monster he summons until last turn when u summon Ra, use a spell to gain 1000 lp (Tea drops them) destroy the enemy monster and boom, game set match

SSA (modified from Yugi Muto LV40 Farm) is viable here as well. I'm losing my first duel as I type this out, but I've already had 6 successful farms...8K+ assessment everytime.

Combining Medusa Control with Ra is quite effective. You just need to use that trap card that gives you 3000 LP twice and things should be good to go.
