How To Use

The White Stones & Blue-Eyes Monsters

The White Stone of Ancients
The White Stone of Ancients
LIGHT Dragon ★1
ATK 600 / DEF 500
Lords of Shining [UR]
Once per turn, during the End Phase, if this card is in the Graveyard because it was sent there this turn: You can Special Summon 1 "Blue-Eyes" monster from your Deck. You can banish this card from your Graveyard, then target 1 "Blue-Eyes" monster in your Graveyard; add it to your hand. You can only use this effect of "The White Stone of Ancients" once per turn.

White Stone of Ancients is key to this deck's ability to swarm the field with powerful beaters. You will use White Stone of Ancients as cost for everything, simultaneously triggering its effect. Occasionally, you can also trigger White Stone of Ancient's effect by using it as synchro material. Its graveyard effect will let you recover a Blue-Eyes monster incase you need cost for Cosmo Brain's summoning.

The Melody of Awakening Dragon

Blue-Eyes White Dragon
Blue-Eyes White Dragon
LIGHT Dragon ★8
ATK 3000 / DEF 2500
100 Million Download Appreciation Campaign [UR]
Kaiba Gate Drop Reward [UR]
This legendary dragon is a powerful engine of destruction. Virtually invincible, very few have faced this awesome creature and lived to tell the tale.

A high-level beater that's only worth running because of its extensive support and how easy it is to get onboard.

The White Stone of Legend
The White Stone of Legend
LIGHT Dragon ★1
ATK 300 / DEF 200
Selection Box Vol. 03 [SR]
Stardust Acceleration [SR]
If this card is sent to the Graveyard: Add 1 "Blue-Eyes White Dragon" from your Deck to your hand.

White Stone of Legends has far less impact on the board when compared to White Stone of Ancients, but what it does have is a quicker search effect. This search effect gets you a Blue-Eyes White Dragon onhand, bringing you closer to activating your skill.

Another advantage White Stone of Legends has over White Stone of Ancients is its immediate search effect. The White Stone of Ancients only Special Summons during the End Phase, giving your opponent a window where they can banish White Stone of Ancients to stop its effect.

Dragon Spirit of White
Dragon Spirit of White
LIGHT Dragon ★8
ATK 2500 / DEF 2000
The White Dragon of Legend [SR]
(This card is always treated as a "Blue-Eyes" card.)
This card is treated as a Normal Monster while in the hand or Graveyard. When this card is Normal or Special Summoned: You can target 1 Spell/Trap Card your opponent controls; banish it. During either player's turn, if your opponent controls a monster: You can Tribute this card; Special Summon 1 "Blue-Eyes White Dragon" from your hand.

Dragon Spirit of White is most useless when it is in your hand. So the best thing to do is send Dragon Spirit of White to the Graveyard as cost for Cosmo Brain. While in the graveyard, you can revive it with Master with Eyes of Blue or Azue-Eyes Silver Dragon.

The backrow removal upon summon is useful for getting rid of key Spell/Trap card and possible Battle Phase disruptions. Its last effect gives you an extra monster to attack with, which is good for pushing damage and getting rid of enemy monsters.

Spellbook Engine

Spellbook Magician of Prophecy
Spellbook Magician of Prophecy
WATER Spellcaster ★2
ATK 500 / DEF 400
Visions of Ice [SR]
Selection Box Vol. 02 [SR]
When this card is Normal Summoned or flipped face-up: Add 1 "Spellbook" Spell Card from your Deck to your hand.

Magician is one of your key searchers alongside Spellbook of Secrets. The difference is, being a monster, Magician is much more versatile than Spellbook of Secrets. For example, after using Magician to search you can use Knowledge for 2 Card Draw or tribute to Special Summon BEWD by using Cosmo Brain.

You can use use Fate to flip Magician face-down when it is targeted for attack. This gives you another search during the opponent's turn when Magician is flip-face up again.

Spellbook of Knowledge
Spellbook of Knowledge
Normal Spell
Special Set Bundle Sale [UR]
Send to the GY either 1 Spellcaster monster you control, or 1 other "Spellbook" card from your hand or face-up from your field, except "Spellbook of Knowledge", and if you do, draw 2 cards. You can only activate 1 "Spellbook of Knowledge" per turn.

Draw Engine of Spellbook Deck. This card can let you convert the excess Spellbook Spell Card (Cards with the same name) from your hand into two more hand sources without losing any cards on your field. If you chain Spellbook of Knowledge with a Spellbook Quick-Spell Card, then you can send that Quick-Spell that is still on the field which is becomes 1 Card Earning in this situation.

Keep in mind that according to the Rulings, even if you apply the effect of "Spellbook of Knowledge" using the effect of "Spellbook of the Master", you cannot choose the activated "Spellbook of the Master" as the card you send to the Graveyard.

Spellbook of Secrets
Spellbook of Secrets
Normal Spell
Visions of Ice [SR]
Selection Box Vol. 02 [SR]
Add 1 "Spellbook" card from your Deck to your hand, except "Spellbook of Secrets". You can only activate 1 "Spellbook of Secrets" per turn.

Spellbook of Secrets allows you to add from your Deck to your hand any “Spellbook” card, including Spellbook Magician of Prophecy.

Spellbook of the Master
Spellbook of the Master
Normal Spell
Visions of Ice [N]
If you control a Spellcaster-Type monster: You can reveal 1 other "Spellbook" card in your hand, then target 1 "Spellbook" Normal Spell Card in your Graveyard, except "Spellbook of the Master"; this card's effect becomes that target's effect. You can only activate 1 "Spellbook of the Master" per turn.

Thanks to Spellbook of the Master, you can bypass the “once per turn” restriction that most “Spellbook” Spell Cards have. This can result in some good combo extensions by copying Secrets or Eternity. After activating Spellbook of Secrets, you can use Spellbook of the Master to copy its effect and add another Spellbook card to your hand.

When going on the offense, you can activate Spellbook Master to copy the effect of Spellbook of Power. Resulting in a 2000 ATK boost also searching 2 cards after destroying an opponent's monster.

Spellbook of Fate
Spellbook of Fate
Quick Spell
Visions of Ice [R]
If you control a Spellcaster-Type monster: You can banish up to 3 "Spellbook" Spell Cards from your Graveyard; apply this effect, depending on the number of Spell Cards banished for this card's activation. You can only activate 1 "Spellbook of Fate" per turn.
● 1: Return 1 Set Spell/Trap Card to the hand.
● 2: Change 1 monster on the field to face-down Defense Position or face-up Attack Position.
● 3: Banish 1 card your opponent controls.

The third effect and the fact it is a Quick-Play Spell is what makes Fate a formidable removal card. It does not target, does not destroy, can be used on both monsters and Spell/Trap Cards, and only costs cards in the graveyard to activate are just some of the reasons why it remains quite relevant.

The first and second effects also contribute a lot to Fate's versatility. The first effect can be used to open the opponent to your attacks by removing a backrow card. The second effect can be used to stop attacks and turn off effects.

Cosmo Brain

Cosmo Brain
Cosmo Brain
DARK Spellcaster ★7
ATK 1500 / DEF 2450
The White Dragon of Legend [R]
Cannot be Normal Summoned/Set. Must first be Special Summoned by sending 1 non-Effect Monster from your hand or face-up field to the GY. This card gains ATK equal to the Level of the monster sent to the GY this way x 200. You can Tribute 1 Effect Monster; Special Summon 1 Normal Monster from your hand or Deck. You can only use this effect of "Cosmo Brain" once per turn.

You can Special Summon Cosmo Brain from your hand by sending 1 non-Effect Monster from your hand or face-up field to the Graveyard; Cosmo Brain gains ATK equal to the Level of that monster. Since both Blue-Eyes White Dragon and Dragon Spirit of White, which is treated as a Normal Monster while in your hand or Graveyard, are Level 8, Cosmo Brain will have 3100 ATK.

You can Tribute Cosmo Brain itself to Special Summon a Blue-Eyes White Dragon directly from your Deck. This will also load a DARK monster into your graveyard for summoning Levianeer.

Master With Eyes of Blue

Master with Eyes of Blue
Master with Eyes of Blue
LIGHT Spellcaster ★1
ATK 300 / DEF 1200
Judgement Force [N]
Blue-Eyes Evolution [N]
When this card is Normal Summoned: You can target 1 Level 1 LIGHT Tuner monster in your Graveyard; add it to your hand. You can shuffle this card from your Graveyard into the Deck, then target 1 Effect Monster you control; send it to the Graveyard, and if you do, Special Summon 1 "Blue-Eyes" monster from your Graveyard, other than the sent monster. You can only use this effect of "Master with Eyes of Blue" once per turn.

Normal Summon Master to recover The White Stone of Ancients. You can then target Master with Sage's effect to summon an Blue-Eyes and load Master into the graveyard.

While in the graveyard Master can be used to revive a Blue-Eyes monster. Do this while sending White Stone of Legends to the graveyard, getting even more Blue-Eyes onboard.

Another way of getting Master in the graveyard is by using it as synchro material.

Resource Gain

Cards of Consonance
Cards of Consonance
Normal Spell
Selection Box Vol. 03 [UR]
Blackstorm Rising [UR]
Discard 1 Dragon-Type Tuner monster with 1000 or less ATK; draw 2 cards.

By using White Stone of Ancients as cost and triggering its effect, these cards give you an overall increase in resource count.

For Cards of Consonance, White Stone of Ancients is your only choice for cost in this deck. Regardless, it is worth running for its deck cycling ability.

Techs

Your techs should ideally have discard costs, letting you proc White Stone of Ancient's effect. With the deck's lack of removal options, cards such as Divine Wrath, Raigeki Break and Karma Cut can fill this role while also triggering White Stone of Ancients.

Divine Wrath
Divine Wrath
Counter Trap
Valkyrie's Rage [UR]
When a monster effect is activated: Discard 1 card; negate the activation, and if you do, destroy that monster.

Most decks rely on monster effects to extend their combos, so having this to stop them can be crucial. This is arguably the easiest one to use out of the other counter traps, but it can also end up being stuck in your spell/trap zone if your opponent doesn't use any monster effect.

Raigeki Break
Raigeki Break
Normal Trap
Soul of Resurrection [UR]
Discard 1 card, then target 1 card on the field; destroy it.

Similar to Ballista Squad's Card Removal Effect, except this uses cards in your hand, which works better if you get good card advantages through something like those White Stones Monsters.

Karma Cut
Karma Cut
Normal Trap
Arena of Sanctuary [SR]
Selection Box Vol. 02 Mini [SR]
Discard 1 card, then target 1 face-up monster your opponent controls; banish that target, then banish all cards with the same name as that monster from your opponent's Graveyard.

A pretty good monster removal that also has an added benefit of removing multiple copies of them if they're also in the graveyard. Great against the mirror match, or other decks that uses same name monsters, but good in general too.

The Extra Decks

Blue-Eyes Spirit Dragon
Blue-Eyes Spirit Dragon
LIGHT Dragon ★9
ATK 2500 / DEF 3000
Judgement Force [UR]
1 Tuner + 1 or more non-Tuner "Blue-Eyes" monsters
Neither player can Special Summon 2 or more monsters at the same time. Once per turn, during either player's turn, when an effect of a card in the Graveyard is activated: You can negate the activation. During either player's turn: You can Tribute this Synchro Summoned card; Special Summon 1 LIGHT Dragon-Type Synchro Monster from your Extra Deck in Defense Position, except "Blue-Eyes Spirit Dragon", but destroy it during the End Phase of this turn.

Once per turn, Blue-Eyes Spirit Dragon allows you to negate the activation of a card or effect that was activated in the Graveyard. You can use this effect of Spirit Dragon, just to make a few practical examples, to negate the activation of Magician Navigation’s, Kiteroid’s, or Shiranui Spectralsword’s Graveyard effects.

During either player’s turn, you can Tribute Spirit Dragon to Special Summon 1 LIGHT Dragon-Type Synchro Monster from your Extra Deck in Defense Position. That monster is destroyed during the End Phase, but you can get around this drawback by Special Summoning Azure-Eyes Silver Dragon or Stardust Spark Dragon. Use this effect of Spirit Dragon to “dodge” cards like Enemy Controller, Drowning Mirror Force, and Treacherous Trap Hole.

Vermillion Dragon Mech
Vermillion Dragon Mech
FIRE Machine ★9
ATK 2700 / DEF 1800
Blazing Rose [UR]
1 Tuner + 1 or more non-Tuner monsters
Once per turn: You can banish 1 Tuner from your hand, field, or Graveyard, then target 1 card on the field; destroy it. If this Synchro Summoned card is destroyed by card effect and sent to the Graveyard: You can target 1 of your banished Tuners; add it to your hand.

Vermillion Dragon Mech is the most versatile generic level-9 Synchro. Prioritize banishing Sage as Vermillion's cost, because these Tuners can't be recycled. Again, be mindful not to banish White Stone of Ancients before its effect procs.

Azure-Eyes Silver Dragon
Azure-Eyes Silver Dragon
LIGHT Dragon ★9
ATK 2500 / DEF 300
Stardust Acceleration [SR]
1 Tuner + 1 or more non-Tuner Normal Monsters
When this card is Special Summoned: Dragon-Type monsters you currently control cannot be targeted or destroyed by card effects until the end of the next turn. Once per turn, during your Standby Phase: You can target 1 Normal Monster in your Graveyard; Special Summon that target.

If this card is Special Summoned, Dragon-Type monsters you currently control cannot be targeted or destroyed by card effects until the End of the next turn; Azure-Eyes essentially provides protection against a plethora of cards that are fairly common in the current meta such as Treacherous Trap Hole, Paleozoic Canadia.

Once per turn, during your Standby Phase, Azure-Eyes can Special Summon a Normal Monster from your Graveyard, meaning Dragon Spirit of White or the Blue-Eyes White Dragon that you have likely used to Special Summon this card.

Michael, the Arch-Lightsworn
Michael, the Arch-Lightsworn
LIGHT Dragon ★7
ATK 2600 / DEF 2000
Judgement Force [UR]
1 Tuner + 1 or more non-Tuner LIGHT monsters
Once per turn: You can pay 1000 LP, then target 1 card on the field; banish that target. When this card is destroyed: You can target any number of other "Lightsworn" monsters in your Graveyard; shuffle them into the Deck, and if you do, you gain 300 LP for each returned card. Once per turn, during your End Phase: Send the top 3 cards of your Deck to the Graveyard.

Michael is summoned through Blue-Eyes Spirit Dragon's effect, do this when you want to switch to a more offense oriented play on that turn. The removal effect cost is good because it doesn't reduce your card resources. Additionally, it is non-destruction banishing which bypasses most protection and floating effects.

Number 9: Dyson Sphere
Number 9: Dyson Sphere
LIGHT Machine ★9
ATK 2800 / DEF 3000
Darkness Gimmick [UR]
2 Level 9 monsters
Once per Battle Step, during your opponent's turn, if this card with Xyz Material is attacked: Negate the attack (this is a Quick Effect). When this card is targeted for an attack while it has no Xyz Materials: You can target 2 monsters in your Graveyard; attach those targets to this card as Xyz Materials. During your Main Phase 1: You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card; this card can attack your opponent directly this turn. Your opponent must control a monster with higher ATK than this card for you to activate and to resolve this effect.
Galaxy-Eyes Full Armor Photon Dragon
Galaxy-Eyes Full Armor Photon Dragon
LIGHT Dragon ★8
ATK 3000 / DEF 2500
Heart of Xyz [UR]
3 Level 8 monsters
You can also Xyz Summon this card by using a "Galaxy-Eyes" Xyz Monster you control as the Xyz Material, except "Galaxy-Eyes Full Armor Photon Dragon". (Xyz Materials attached to that monster also become Xyz Materials on this card.) Once per turn: You can target up to 2 Equip Cards equipped to this card; attach them to this card as Xyz Materials. Once per turn: You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card, then target 1 face-up card your opponent controls; destroy it.

Can be Xyz Summon using Cipher Dragon. Good for Face-up Card Destruction which is good for Monster Removal and Face-Up Backrow Removal for sometimes.

Galaxy-Eyes Cipher Dragon
Galaxy-Eyes Cipher Dragon
LIGHT Dragon ★8
ATK 3000 / DEF 2500
Phantom of Rebellion [UR]
2 Level 8 monsters
Once per turn: You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card, then target 1 face-up monster your opponent controls; monsters you control cannot attack your opponent directly for the rest of this turn, except this card, also take control of the targeted monster until the End Phase, but while this effect is applied, it has its effects negated, its ATK becomes 3000, also its name becomes "Galaxy-Eyes Cipher Dragon".

A potential OTK card if your opponent controls 1 or 2 monsters. This almost works like Number 70: Malevolent Sin since it lets you direct attack if your opponent only controls 1 monster.

Galaxy-Eyes Cipher Blade Dragon
Galaxy-Eyes Cipher Blade Dragon
LIGHT Dragon ★9
ATK 3200 / DEF 2800
Heart of Xyz [SR]
3 Level 9 monsters
You can also Xyz Summon this card by using a Rank 8 "Galaxy-Eyes" Xyz Monster you control as the Xyz Material. (Xyz Materials attached to that monster also become Xyz Materials on this card.) Cannot be used as an Xyz Material for an Xyz Summon. Once per turn: You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card, then target 1 card on the field; destroy it. If this Xyz Summoned card is destroyed by your opponent's attack or card effect and sent to your Graveyard: You can target 1 "Galaxy-Eyes Cipher Dragon" in your Graveyard; Special Summon it.

Can be Xyz Summon using Galaxy-Eyes Cipher Dragon. Unlike Galaxy-Eyes Full Armor Photon Dragon with Face-Up Card Removal limitation, Cipher Blade can remove any 1 card on the field which is good for getting rid of some backrow that will disrupt your combo or Big Boss monsters with bigger ATK stats than any of your monsters.

Voloferniges, the Darkest Dragon Doomrider
Voloferniges, the Darkest Dragon Doomrider
DARK Dragon ★7
ATK 2500 / DEF 2100
Cross Dimension [SR]
2 Level 7 monsters
Once per turn: You can detach 2 materials from this card, then target 1 face-up card on the field; destroy it, and if you destroyed a monster, you can make 1 face-up monster you control gain ATK equal to the destroyed monster's original Level/Rank x 300 until the end of the next turn. This card cannot attack the turn you activate this effect. This is a Quick Effect if this card has a Dragon monster as material, but cannot be activated in the Damage Step.

Face-Up Card Destruction including backrow is pretty decent effect but sadly it cannot activated during Damage Step. When you destroyed a monster, it will allows you boost up ATK of 1 monster you control until the end of the next turn which can easily get rid of the monsters that higher than 3000 ATK stat.

Skill Suggestion

[Skill] descriptionUser
Alternative Evolution
Select 1 monster you control with 3000 or more ATK, whose original name is "Blue-Eyes White Dragon". The selected monster becomes "Blue-Eyes Alternative White Dragon". This Skill can only be used once per Duel.

Other Cards Option

Chaos Dragon Levianeer

Chaos Dragon Levianeer
Chaos Dragon Levianeer
DARK Dragon ★8
ATK 3000 / DEF 0
Selection Box Vol. 02 Mini [UR]
Cannot be Normal Summoned/Set. Must first be Special Summoned (from your hand) by banishing 3 LIGHT and/or DARK monsters from your GY. When Summoned this way: You can activate this effect; apply the following effect, based on the Attribute(s) of the monsters banished for the Special Summon, also this card cannot attack for the rest of this turn.
● Only LIGHT: Special Summon 1 monster from your GY in Defense Position.
● Only DARK: Shuffle 1 random card from your opponent's hand into the Deck.
● Both LIGHT and DARK: Destroy up to 2 cards on the field.
You can only use this effect of "Chaos Dragon Levianeer" once per turn.

Always summon Levianeer with a mix of LIGHT and DARK monsters as cost, which usually means using at least 1 Cosmo Brain. Levianeer's multi-card removal paired with this deck's ability to swarm powerful beaters easily lets you OTK the turn you summon Levianeer.

Be careful not to banish White Stone of Legends sent to the grave this turn. Its effect will not proc when banished early.

Not only this, it is very difficult to recover if your first monsters were destroyed and you are very vulnerable without trap protection.

Since you can get a box via 1000 gems, means you can get most of what you need, but be short a Dragon Spirit and Cosmo that these decklist. Fill it in with something like more copies of protector, Melody if you have it, or standbys like econ or cosmic cyclone

Also the Arkana ability would be even more important in a Free to play deck giving instant access to your 1 off Cosmo brain
