Preventing and Negate are different thing.
Question
Guys, Im had been wondering, i fought Blue Eyes Spirit Dragon, and i activated Fish Deep Charge to destroy my monster and BESD, meanwhile opponent tribute his monster into Azure Eyes Silver Dragon from his ex deck in defense position.

The question is,

Card from BESD stated" Special Summon 1 LIGHT Dragon-Type Synchro Monster from your Extra Deck in Defense Position, except "Blue-Eyes Spirit Dragon", but destroy it during the End Phase of this turn".

His Azure Eyes Silver Dragon doesnt destroy after his end phase. Still keep stay on his field.

So, what IT refer to?

Azure eyes protects dragons from destruction including itself until the end of the next turn, that's why it wasn't destroyed

This card is just another Cocytus that is able to dodge any trap then summon a free Azure. No doubt it will be hit soon, just wait to see some BE cards to be included into the banlist for the first time. BE will not be spared after reaching tier 1 status, just a matter of time.

3000 atk is normal.

DDD 6000 atk is amazing.

Cydra 8400 atk is devastating.


all this deck can summon it 1st turn if they go 2nd

DDD and Cydra needs more cards (and skill) to setup.
Meanwhile it is common for BE players to summon 2-3 copies of vanilla BE during 1st turn. That is not normal.

vanilla cant summon 2-3 copy in mainphase. white stone trigger end phase. battle phase no threat.

middle round

alternative is real problem. then either he syncro white spirit or vermiliion. retrieve alternative from GY. but middle round is no threat too

final round

board full setup 3 beater BE,Xyz,Syncro BE. but it is no threat also

as larva golem user. 4 of 5 duel vs BE i win

I tested it and Revival Gift does hard counter Magician navigation.

And as a bonus you also get a tuner on your field for free.

It's nice to have a F2P card that can counter a P2W card.

That's the point.
Scenario: opponent has no monsters.
When your opponent activates Navi, chain it with Revival Gift to fill 2 of their monster card zones. Your opponent can only summon 1 monster.

Scenario: Opponent has 1 monster.
Your opponent's Navi can't summon anything.
