Pros

  • Negates effects activated from the graveyard.
  • Special Summons a LIGHT Dragon monster from your Extra Deck.

Cons

  • Costly to summon.
  • Tributes itself to use third effect.
  • Special Summoned monster is destroyed during the End Phase.

Tips

Blue-Eyes

Blue-Eyes Spirit Dragon will be easy to summon in a Blue-Eyes deck because of the monsters that act as Blue-Eyes White Dragon and the level-1 Tuners.

Special Summonable Monsters

Here are some of the monsters you can Special Summon when you tribute Blue-Eyes Spirit Dragon. Monsters like Azure-Eyes Silver Dragon and Stardust Spark Dragon with self protection effects will allow them to survive past the End Phase.

According to some people, there is currently a bug with Blue-Eyes Spirit Dragon.

Anyone knows what this bug is about ?

It doesn't prompt you to use her effect when you have your toggle set to Enanled this bug occurs only on PvE

It looks like a metaphis version of blue eyes white dragon

I don't see any point in this card as it will ss azure eyes, or spark stardust, but they are level 9 too, so why not just synchrp summon those first and don't bother with spirit?

Anonymous 23days ago Reply
You want to summon Spirit since it's overall better than Azure-Eyes, but when Spirit get targeted by a destructive/banishing effect, you want to tribute it for Azure-Eyes since this way, you still have a strong Synchro monster.

So far People who summoned Spirit against me instead of Azure Eyes lost because of Spirit. I don't see how Spirit can be worth the gems it costs.
I spent a lot of gems to get it but didn't get a single one, and in every game I play I don't see where Spirit could have helped me.

I know this card can ss stardust spark, but the real question is, if the spark use the effects after that, is it still gets destroyed or not?
<< Anonymous
Anonymous 25days ago Reply
if Spark targets itself with its effect then it should not be destroyed.
<< Anonymous
Anonymous 25days ago Reply
The issue is that Spark negates destruction only once if I'm not wrong.
If your opponent destroys it by battle during the same turn it's over for him.

Stardust Spark's effect isn't only once.
<< Anonymous
Anonymous 24days ago Reply
it only protects once on the turn it's used.

It would be awesome if DSOD Kaiba has a line with this Synchro monster

So far, in most replay I watched (where Spirit Dragon was used against another deck) the Blue eyes deck loosed.

Makes me wonder why I'm going through the new box.

Only about 20 packs remaining and I still didn't get him and another SR.

Anyway, BE was supposed to be all about trading their effects for big stats.
Today BE cards are outclassed on both the effect and stats departement.

Wrong it still summons 1 dark magician and 1 dark spellcaster... this BES wont effect dark magician's at all.

BE Spirit only stops Navigation from banishing itself from the graveyard to negate a spell/trap card.
If you want to counter Magician Navigation's special summon BE Spirit won't stop it.

You can however counter the S.Summon using the trap card Revival Gift.
With navigation you MUST S.Summon 2 monsters. Since Revival Gift will fill his field he won't S.Summon anything.

I guess only Blue-Eyes deck can use this against Dark Magician decks since they have lot of level 1 tuners to special summon using "Revival Gift".

Hard counter against Magician Navigation accepted.

Anonymous 24days ago Reply
I tested it and Revival Gift does hard counter Magician navigation.

And as a bonus you also get a tuner on your field for free.

It's nice to have a F2P card that can counter a P2W card.

Just summon 1 Gigante castel and you destroy both of them in battle

Another support for blue eyes
Where are the REDD and upgraded fusions for red eyes?
<< Anonymous
Anonymous 27days ago Reply
Considering how great blue eyes and dark magician have become, it would be nice to add red eyes transmigration and one of the other fusions, maybe black flare dragon :) red eyes darkness dragon wont see play because they took so long to introduce him that he is already outdated and useless, except if its a skill (and we dont lose the red eyes monster used, but send to graveyard instead)

Actually I think that Red-eyes boss monster is better than this Synchro monster as a boss.

Red-eyes Slash can win the game by itself. BE Spirit cannot win the game alone.

only very dumb people take sides between dm and bewd without enjoying the game. Are you guys flawed?

Are 2 of this enough?

Yeah, it's stupid, too bad since the artwork is actually really awesome.
most Jurrac monsters actually hate being in Defense Position due to having lower DEF than ATK lol
It would fare terribly considering you don't seem to even read the cards you are putting in ...
......of course you have to direct it to attack where your opponent would be, which is behind his...
