Very underrated and under appreciated blue-eyes card; has been the reason for many victories.

If it was also a normal monster like spirit it would be legit broken. Funny how it hard counters withcrafter.

Combine it with WB for guaranteed wipe the back field
<< Anonymous
Anonymous Reply
Personally I stop using this since they "fix" the effect so it happen on the field, while in the past it was when solid dragon went into the deck.
<< Anonymous
Anonymous Reply
Yeah, but this + WB is so juicy against Odion-trapnui.
Make them powerless, then follow-up with UD to finish the game
Anonymous
when do we get Alternative Solid Dragon?

I'm trying to find a good combo for this bad boy, but apart for White Stone special summon from deck I found nothing else.

Anyone knows how to make this card decent?

i believe the one who's trolling by saying "Open the card catalogue and search on your own" is Marvel Disney fan himself.

He knows that the newbie wouldn't even understand what card does what he wants even if he had it in-front of him in the catalogue.
That's why he keeps trying to make F2P lose as much time as possible in card studio.

"Does a card like that exist? I'm confident I have all cards in the game at 3 but I don't remember seeing one like that"
LoL. You have all cards at 3?
So much chikara!

Anyway, doesn't that combo also hard counter Azure-Eyes+BE Spririt Dragon combo?
If vs must.
Dominate the mirror match with Solid LoL.

Not like you would use Solid even if it was a normal monster like Spirit of White.

Does anyone actually know a good way to cheat this out? I literally don't understand.

not in any of the consistent dragon deck builds.

Yea, unfortunately there's no real easy way to bring this card out.

Euh, protector, Stone, Sage, Master summon him just as easily as any other BE.

Only Azure Eyes will complain. What other way did you want to summon him?
You already have 2 from deck, 1 from hand, and 1 from graveyard.

Totally worth getting !
I just love this card.

Should change that card name to Blue-Eyes Prismatic Dragon...haha

So pretty <3

Yeah it's one of the card that actually looks good as Prismatic.

Why does this card special summons a Blue Eyes White Dragon instead of a Blue-Eyes Shining Dragon?

There is more genetic and design resemblance between Solid and Shining than with classic BEWD.
<< Anonymous

Instead of continuously releasing new cards they could actually remade some iconic cards in duel links to become playable. Personally I hate seeing old legendary card being replaced instead of making some support for them. Look neo be ultimate dragon, neo be shinning dragon etc. A good support example were the chibi black luster knight, silent swordsman/magician support etc.
<< Anonymous
Anonymous Reply
I'm for it.
We need a chibi: Blue-Eyes Baby Dragon.
<< Anonymous
Anonymous Reply
Yes.
<< Anonymous
Anonymous Reply
Yeah, Galaxy-Eyes has its own chibi version, why can't Blue-Eyes have one
Anonymous
Its wings are designed after a Battle City Duel Disk, hence Solid (as in, Solid Vision)
<< Anonymous
Anonymous Reply
never noticed that lol
<< Anonymous

yeah, it's clearer if you look at the card's artwork in-game instead of in here, as real life cards with glossy foiling tends to have their foil cause the art to be darker when the card is scanned into PC.

From what many people assume, Solid Dragon's effect can't activate during the damage step because it doesn't directly involve stats modification. For example against a Gravekeeper's Guard.
Then, can Slash dragon's effect protect from this same target effect ?
<< Anonymous
Anonymous Reply
I can confirm, this card's effect is bugged.

It is a bug that Konami still didn't fix yet.
What are they doing?
<< Anonymous
Anonymous Reply
I see, there is a blue-eyes card that is still bugged but instead of fixing it Konami is releasing new blue-eyes support instead.

What a weird move.
<< Anonymous
Anonymous Reply
It is actually because no one can summon a monster during a damage step. Damage step restrict solid dragon effect activation in the first place, which explain why he cant use its effect since its involves special summoning
<< Anonymous
Anonymous Reply
Special Summon can happen during Damage Step, if a card's effect that Special Summon specifies its activation window as something only happens during Damage Step.
Anonymous
Why does this card miss timing?
I thought If + can do this = never miss timing
<< Anonymous
Anonymous Reply
From the second person's comment what I understand is this:
He summoned Solid, before he received the prompt to target negate the Zombie his opponent used his quick effect "banish a special summoned monster".
Case 1, he shuffled Solid using his effect n°2. Since he was shuffled his 1st target negate effect can't be activated any more.
<< Anonymous
Anonymous Reply
Case 2, he didn't activate the shuffle effect of Solid. Thus Solid gets banished before being prompted to target negate using his 1st effect. Since Solid is not on the field anymore but is in the banish Zone instead his effect cannot be activated anymore.

My two assumptions would depend on if "being face-up on the field" is a necessary condition for a "if + can" to activate.

Am I right here?
<< Anonymous
Anonymous Reply
What a detective.
Yeah, WSotA was destroyed during my opponent's turn. My Solid was summoned during his turn, not mine. I suppose he had "toggle on" and was therefore able to activate his target banish "in response to Solid being summoned" right before Solid activates his target negate, due to turn player priority.
Perhaps shuffling Solid makes him "not public", like being face-down=No effect.
<< Anonymous
Anonymous Reply
Thanks for the replies guys.

From what I understand, for IF + CAN, it's not possible to cause miss-timing, but miss-prompt IS possible.

For effects that activates "if this card is summoned", you can force them to miss-prompt by either shuffling them face-down or banishing them.

In order to respond and chain to a summon "before the enemy is prompted" you must be the turn player.

Since a P2W whales keeps laughing at the question I posted AND other trolls keep replying to questions I didn't ask I'm making a new post.

When Solid's negation effect targets WC Verre upon summon, Verre chains to negate the opposing field. If I chain Solid's shuffle effect in response to her field negate, is Solid's first effect guaranteed to negate WC Verre?
<< Anonymous
Anonymous Reply
Yes. Most cards that can shuffle back a BEWD into the deck that comes to my mind do this as an effect, not as a cost.
I would also be interested to know the name of a card that can do that.
<< Anonymous
Anonymous Reply
In case anyone is still interested in this question I tested it today and it works.

Solid Dragon is Guaranteed to negate Witchcrafter Verre if you shuffle in response to her quick effect.
I did it in a game just now.
<< Anonymous
Anonymous Reply
Tried it today for the first time against a Verre. It worked so well that my opponent just Raged quited after her Verre was destroyed.

So satisfying.

Now I just need a Dragon on witch lolis doujinshi.
<< Anonymous
Anonymous Reply
Well done. Time to use cheap f2p card like solid dragon to ruin p2w cards like verre.
Anonymous
I threw this in with my Trick up the sleeve deck. I usually draw a Protector fairly quickly so I can get it out there. You effectively run a 19 card deck with that skill anyway.

Can't be trusted in most others though.
<< Anonymous
Anonymous Reply
In most decks sure, but I can get him out fairly consistently with Arkana. Maybe a luck thing.

<< Anonymous
Anonymous Reply
Well, if you can get protector in your hand ALL THE TIME without getting canadia'd or floodgated then you can consider yourself lucky.
<< Anonymous
Anonymous Reply
WoD is a larger concern generally. Everybody seems to have 3 of those. Only run across that other stuff at plat and above, where I shall never go. More fun around gold.
<< Anonymous
Anonymous Reply
People generally only carry 1 WoD at most nowadays.
Anonymous
bad card since it NOT treated Normal Monster like white dragon of spirit.
<< Anonymous
Anonymous Reply
I'd say it's not that bad, but I'll just run 1 copy of this. No need for more that that.
<< Anonymous
Anonymous Reply
Well, since he is able to return into the deck most of time, one copy of this card is more than enough.
<< Anonymous
Anonymous Reply
of all the things about this card that you stated as bad.....it's the fact that it's not a normal monster???

Wut.
