Pros

  • Protects Dragon-type monsters from destruction effects.
  • Revives Normal monsters.
  • Good stats.

Cons

  • High leveled Synchro monster making it more costly to summon.
  • Revival effect activates during the standby phase meaning it cannot be used immediately.

Tips

  • The Azure-Eyes Silver Dragon's effect is activated when he is summoned in any way. This means that aside from Synchro summoning you can also activate the protection effect by reviving Azure-Eyes Silver Dragon.

Synchro Summon

Use this card in a Blue-Eyes deck where it can easily be Synchro summoned and maximize it's effect. The "Eyes of Blue" Archetype consists of level 1 Tuner monsters you can use alongside Blue-Eyes White Dragon to Synchro summon into Azure-Eyes Silver Dragon. You can also use The White Stone of Legend as a Tuner and search out a Blue-Eyes white Dragon when it is sent to the graveyard.

Gemini monsters

Gemini monsters are treated as Normal monsters while in the graveyard so you can revive them with Azure-Eyes Silver Dragon's effect. Since they were special summoned you can normal summon them again to gain their effects.

wtf why was this hit with a limit? cards of consance is a much bigger problem than this, I play the 🔥 f2p bewd deck and this literally doesn't affect it at all. Komoney indeed

Because blue eyes is konami's baby boy

How come chaos drag lev destruction effect still destroys azure?

No. I had it since previous turn.

You prob just chained spirt dragon to levianeer effect and you forgot it. Dont lie.

we need more blue eyes support

Joker Reply
What are u talking about. We need more ojama and duston support

A card that is not free and the konami has limited, understand now why it is better to stop playing this crap.

The banlist is nothing to BE players, they lose only 1 single Melody.

Oh no this totally destroyed blue eyes, you took the biggest hit how are you poor souls ever recover from this massive hit, blue eyes is literally unplayable now
Anonymous
The main problem was not Azure but Spirit Dragon. In the end this one got hit.

Anonymous Reply
Just swap this for more backrow ez fix
<< Anonymous

I think they will replace melody with bingo.
<< Anonymous
Anonymous Reply
no, they'll replace azure with stardust spark dragon and keep melody.

the main probleme here is that u need more protection with ur backraw. BOM +++
<< Anonymous
Anonymous Reply
This one allow them to recycle, protect, Fusion, Synchro and XYZ summon.

Stardust Spark Dragon only protect one monster and destroy himself at the end phase if you didn't choose him because of Spirit Dragon effect.

Bingo cant guarantee the only B.E. Alternative they have.

Apart from this guy special summoning normal monsters and being a valid extra deck monster for BE Spirit, does he have any other synergy with Blue Eyes decks?

His name disqualifies him for Master with Eyes of Blue, Priestess, etc.. It feels more like a random dragon that happens to work well with normal monsters and is white.
<< Anonymous
Anonymous Reply
He is a part of the Blue -Eyes archetype because many Eyes of Blue monsters work with him.

For example BE Spirit can summon him.
Master with Eyes of Blue can revive him.
Chaos form can use him as material.
Priestess can target him.
Deep-Eyes White dragon can use him as a summoning condition.

Anonymous Reply
What the heck, none of what you said is true.

Azure Eyes works with nothing in a Blue Eyes deck. It just does its own thing, but no more synergy than that.
<< Anonymous
Anonymous Reply
Nope, blue eyes specific support cant really do anything with this card. Its not even treated as blue eyes or normal monster like the rest of blue eyes high level monster. Even stone of ancient doesn't recognize this card as one of blue eyes

It's related to the Blue-Eyes archetype but it's not part of it.
Blue eyes Silver rip
My opponent played Wrath of Neos while I control Red Dragon Archfiend and Blue-Eyes Spirit Dragon. In response, I tribute BESD and special summoned Azure-Eyes Silver Dragon. Why does my monster still get destroyed from Wrath of Neos' effect?
<< Anonymous(Blue eyes Silver rip)
WoodFrJared Reply
Hmm, I think the Wrath of Neos's destruction effect is resolved before the Azure-Eyes Protection Effect maybe?
<< WoodFrJared
WoodFrJared Reply
since your opponent's activate Wrath of Neos=chain 1, your BESD'effect will be chain-2,so here will have a chain effect occurs. Besides that, Azure-Eyes Protection effect is a trigger effect, so you need to wait the chain effect resolves then after this protection effect.

I summon "Azur-Eyes" in my opponents turn and then when my turn begins I activate the effect of "Azur-Eyes" and special summon e.g. "Dragon Spirit of White" and then in my mainphase I activate "Dark Hole" why does my "Dragon Spirit of White" gets destroyed. Cause thats the case in the game "Yugioh Legacy of the Duelist"
<< Anonymous
Anonymous Reply
Becuase the "Azur-eyes" only effects cards already on the field and will not protect anything summoned after.
Anonymous
How does the protection from targeting and destruction of this card work?
I summoned Azure-Eyes Silver Dragon and it was immediately destroyed by the Treacherous trap hole of my opponent
<< Anonymous
Anonymous Reply
Azure-Eyes' effect activated as soon as it hits the field, but it's still a triggered effect. This mean your opponent can chain cards to Azure-Eyes' effect, before it actually starts protecting cards.

Anonymous Reply
thanks for the reply!
Anonymous
Can you chain cards to this protection activation effect? Like can you canadia/FTH it when it gets summoned?
<< Anonymous
Anonymous Reply
Dunno about Canadia, but Floodgate Trap Hole doesn't target, so you can FTH Azure-Eyes or another dragon summoned while it is on the field.

Does this card protect from UA penalty box??
<< Anonymous
Anonymous Reply
It doesn't protect from amazoness banish too right ?
<< Anonymous
Anonymous Reply
Yes, it does not.
<< Anonymous(sjsj)
Anonymous Reply
While we're on the topic of non-target banishing.....it doesn't protect against Spellbook of Fate either.
<< Anonymous
Anonymous Reply
Spellbook of Fate is not targeting but if you chain it to their summon of Azure it will be banished before the protection effect is applied.
