Since Spellbook Magician of Prophecy is not suitable to be used as Attacking monster, you can equip Wonder Wand to it, and send it to the Graveyard to draw 2 cards. You can also equip One-Shot Wand to it, after damage calculation, send One-Shot Wand to the Graveyard to draw 1 card.
I use a spellbook deck for almost 2 months and tbh this deck took me to KOG rank, I use the spellbook cards in combination with silent magicians, I found a balance between them and here is what I use:
2x Silent Magician LVL8
3x Silent Magician (very usefull to block any spell card)
2x Blizzard Princess (spell/trap cards cannot be activated in the turn you summon it, so attack cannot be stopped)
3x Spellbook Magician of Prophecy
3x Silent Magician LVL 4
3x Spellbook of Secrets
2x Spellbook of Fate
3x Spellbook of Power
3x Level UP!
1x Spellbook of Eternity
3x Spellbook of the Master
1x Sakuretsu Armor
1x Swamp Mirrorer (very useful when activated at the end of your opponent turn to summon the Blizzard Princess in your turn, use spellbook of power and eventually a Wonder Wand or One-Shot Wand equip spell to defeat your opponent in one attack)
Hope this was useful to anyone who want to use such a technical deck instead of just throwing off a bunch of monsters to fuse them and create the Ultimate ancient gear golem :D
I'm using 2x Fools as a replacement until i pull 2 more Spellbook Magicians, I'm fairly new and casual to the game and i got Platinum R4 quickly and easily.
(Using the free ticket for Waifu Magician [f2p only] and using 1x SB of Secrets until i pull more, meanwhile using replacements/filler)
