How to unlock GX World

Now the world of Yu-Gi-Oh! GX has been released! To unlock and dive into the new world, you have to complete Jaden Yuki unlock missions first. It's not that hard to complete those missions.

How to unlock GX duelists

Name	Unlock trigger
Jaden	Once you reach Stage 8 or above in Yu-Gi-Oh! (DM) World, Jaden Unlock Missions appear.
Aster	Aster Unlock Missions appear once you summon DARK-attribute Monster(s) 200 time(s) in total.
Chazz	Once you reach Stage 6 in Yu-Gi-Oh! (GX) World, Chazz Unlock Missions appear.
Alexis	Once you reach Stage 11 in Yu-Gi-Oh! (GX) World, Alexis Unlock Missions appear.
Bastion	Once you achieve "Win a victory 50 time(s) while your deck is 3 or less", Bastion Unlock Missions appear.
Vellian	Unknown.

What is Yugioh GX?

The second Generation of the YuGiOh series, bringing with it new Characters, new Signature Cards and new Events.

On August 25, Konami made an in game announcement promising "A new World", "New Characters" and "New Missions". Then at Tokyo Game Show 2017 , Yu-Gi-Oh! GX world was confirmed finally.

Note: All credit regarding this information leak goes to XOF.

Among these, are cards owned by the protagonist Jaden Yuki and other prominent characters such as Aster Phoenix, Chazz Princeton, Alexis Rhodes and Bastion Misawa, meaning that they might be the first unlockable characters once GX is added. The datamine also shows the rarity of some cards and how duelists could get them.

GX Duelists

Name	Description
Jaden	The Protagonist of the GX series. Jaden uses an elemental hero deck throughout the series, but later on added neospacians to his deck.
Zane	Zane is a powerful duelist from GX series, his deck is themed around Cyber Dragon and it's other forms and fusions, his deck then centered around both Cyber Dragon and Cyberdark later on in the series.
Aster	One of Jaden's rivals, Aster uses a Destiny Hero deck which he believes to be superior to Jaden's Elemental Heroes.
Jesse	Jesse is uses a Gembeast Deck with Raibow Dragon and Gem Beast Ruby Carbuncle as his Ace Cards.
Chazz	Originally using a VWXYZ deck, Chazz has change his theme to using the Armed Dragon and Ojama monsters.
Alexis	Uses a Cyber Angel Deck which focuses on ritual summoning her strongest monsters. For a while she also used an ice themed deck that prevents her opponent from attacking.
Vellian	Uses an Ancient Gear themed deck, it contains many high leveled monsters that have anti-trap effects.
Atticus	Uses a regular beast-warrior beatdown deck as Atticus, but as nightshroud he uses a Red-eyes deck with his Signature card being Red-Eyes Darkness Dragon.
Yubel	Uses a DARK attribute deck centered around summoning herself and the other stronger forms of Yubel,then forces you to do battle with her indestructible monsters.
Bastion	Bastion uses 2 types of decks, one is Magnet Warriors. The other one which he is most famously known for is his Water Dragon deck, uniquely themed around chemical bonds.

Gx characters and cards could be nice, as long as they dont go further and add XYZ and pendulums, those summons really changed the way Yu-gi-oh is played. they can add synchro but that would be kind of sad

Why all the hate gx is great sure the plots may have been kinda 🔥ty but the duels and the cards introduced were cool plus its not like you HAVE to play as them you can still use normal yugioh guys. I mean the worst series by far was zexal if arc v wasnt good i probably wouldnt have watched yugioh again they really shot themselvs in the foot with that series not gx

Even jf zexal was added i wouldnt complain cos i hate the show but at least theres more characters to play as more skills and cards and more gameplay who knows i might even end up liking the show a bit after giving it a second chance instead of 🔥ing about it on some website that dosnt make any different

people really just need to give new cards a chance; synchros, xyz, pend, and link have all added more depth into the game. Some of these mechanics give new life to old decks 10 times over.

Where is Wheeler in this leaked characters list? You can't tell me they haven't planned to make the best character with the most development in the show not playable in the game. He was one of Jaden's greatest rivals until he eventually had his redemption arc and sided with the heroes, as he broke free from the corruption of his masters.

tl;dr Wheeler needs to be in the game.

Ayy, GX characters finally! We will surely get the other series characters later down the road, but if they introduce all the other summoning methods, the Extra Zone is gonna be necessary to avoid Extra Deck spam. Pendulum will be gutted though lol

Don't see other summonings being introduced to DL... We do not have the zones necessary for them, and I doubt Konami is going to change the format of the game

GX isn't synchro. 5ds is. Gx is the same as the original series with more focused on fusions.

I syncro summoning could be added to the game without breaking it, even maybe XYZ summoning, but I hardly believe they'll ever add pendulum and link summoning. You need more zones to do that, and I don't see Konami changing the format of the app

Egyptian gods will suck honestly, way too hard to summon. You very rarely have more than 2 cards in your hand in duel links so you've essentially got 3 sacrifices for a 2000 beater at most, ra gets its attack points from your life points so max you'll get is 3900 unless you use some life points increasing cards but it'll still leave you with 100l.p., obelisk might be good but 3 tributes is a lot
