How to beat/farm Bonz Lvl 40 (Unlock Event)

Note: These deck are for farming Bonz during his character unlock event, For decks to farm the roaming event Bonz click here.

• Using Paradox Brothers' skill "Elements Unite!" you can farm Bonz pretty easily by filling most of the cards in your deck with some draw cards.
• Do NOT summon Gate Guardian because you want to use 2 of the gate guardian monsters to boost Gravekeeper's Vassal's attack to reach over 10,000.
• Switch all your monsters to defense position so that Bonz will not be able to finish you off if his King of the Skull Servants has 3,000 attack.
• Let Bonz destroy your Sanga of the Thunder so it frees up a monster zone.
• Use Different Dimension Capsule to get Goblin Circus from your deck to help mill out your deck by banishing unnecessary cards.
• Use Dimensionhole on your Kazejin and Suijin so that they will have their effects enabled again.
• On the last turn, summon Vassal and use Secret Pass to the Treasures and double Union Attack to deal the finishing blow.
• If you end up with 0 cards left when Bonz has not yet used his tribute to the doomed, you can use Interdimensional Matter Transporter transporter to banish one of your monsters so you can summon vassal.
• Good Goblin Housekeeping can also be a good alternative if need more draw cards.

• Using Hazy Flame Sphynx, Beast Rising, and Aroma Strategy you can increase Hazy's attack to more than 9,000. Then you can finish the duel using Gravekeeper's Vassal and Union Attack to deal more than 10,000 attack.
• Summon Sphynx using either Bubonic Vermin, Hazy Glory, or Soul Exchange. You can also stall the duel by normal summoning Hazy Flame Cerbereus to defend against a direct attack.
• Once you manage to summon Sphynx, activate its effect to send unnecessary cards to the graveyard, and special summon more fire monsters to your field for your Beast Rising.
• Make sure that you don't activate Sphynx's effect to discard your Vassal, Union Attack, and Secret Pass to the Treasures. But if you did, then try to end the duel with your Sphynx, or use Windstorm to switch his monsters to attack position if he has any face up monsters and attack into it.
• Do not set 2 spell/trap cards at a time to avoid being locked by his Xing Zhen Hu. But you can use Hazy Glory's effect to clear some space if it happens.

• You can start the duel either by summoning Dark Mimic LV1, or use the skill to summon Labyrinth Wall right away if you already have protection traps.
• To safely play around Bonz's Xing Zhen Hu, set only a Riryoku Field, or Spell Shield Type-8 until you draw your Twister.
• Leave a spell/trap zone open so if Bonz used Xing Zhen Hu on your turn, you can activate Twister before your turn ends.
• Keep using Gravedigger Ghoul to banish his Skull Servants to prevent King of the Skull Servants from getting attack higher than your labyrinth.
• On the last turn, activate Shield & Sword before you special summon The Fiend Megacyber. Then summon Gravekeeper's Vassal, use Secret Pass to the Treasures and double Union Attack on him to deal the finishing blow.
