You choose 1 "●" effect when "Legacy of Yata-Garasu" is activated.

Cons

"Legacy of Yata-Garasu" cannot be activated during the Damage Step.
If you do not control a face-up Spirit monster, you can only activate the "● Draw 1 card." effect.

Tips, related cards, skills

Give them Spirits

Activate Give and Take to special summon 1 spirit monster from your graveyard to your opponent's side of the field to activate the 2nd effect of Legacy of Yata-Garasu. Alternatively Mystic Box can be used with the same purpose.

Yata-Garasu and Time Seal is changed to limited on the ban list now along with Change of heart I wonder how that's going to affect Duel Links.

Don't expect those cards in Duel Links. The TCG meta is completely different and it's extremely easy in TCG to stop the Yata-Garasu lock.

OCG/TCG ban never really affect DL, they're separate format with separate card pool.

And yeah, I don't expect those cards to be released in DL. Those cards are not so OP anymore in real life, but in DL they might be still very powerful.

Good for converting to coins

Use spirit deck, with the additional of mystic box. Destroy 1 card, give control to enemy, activate this card, and on the end of turn the spirit monster is returned

Dan

Stall and draw. Equipping your spellcasters with wonder wands is the priority, while Golden Apples and Enchanted Javelin protect your empty field.

A good combo is Crystal Seer + Feint Plan + Golden Apples + Wonder Wand. Set Crystal Seer, use a Feint Plan, flip summon it next turn to draw a card, equip wonder wand, destroy to get 2 more cards and Golden Apples to protect your field.

You'll probably never use the second effect but there's a chance you could. So this is, technically speaking, better than jar

On the other hand, you'll have to select which effect to activate every time (even if your opponent doesn't have a spirit monster). It only takes a second to select "draw 1 card" but it adds up.

Right on, calling on people's lies. yes, spirit monsters can't be special summoned unless by their own effect.

good for farming if you use the glossy SR ticket on this card it can act as a 4th Jar of Greed & let you draw cards faster so u finish the farm faster & its glossy so u get extra assessment points

Actually its 3 cards total, but you get to take out an opponent's monster too, so its pretty worthwhile.
