The Spirit monster will go to the owner's (in other words, yours) hand, that's the entire reason comboing Spirit monsters with Mystic Box is good. This won't work.

On the other hand you need 2 cards just to draw 2 cards...

Actually its 3 cards total, but you get to take out an opponent's monster too, so its pretty worthwhile.
