If you Normal Summon it without Tribute, its ATK becomes 1000.

Tips

Overall, this card serves as primary defense on the Field during early stages of the duel, and it can be Special Summoned back to the Field from the Graveyard via Hazy Flame Sphynx’s effect to become a powerful beater.
This card can be banished via Beast Rising’s effect to increase your other Hazy Flame monster’s ATK by 2000.

Most its effects would apply as usual, except the ATK reduce that happens only when it's Normal Summoned (since you Special Summon it instead).

Uuum yes it does - that banish is a targetet effect, so a hazy getting banished is super weird

Fate doesn't target, period.

It activates by banishing spellbooks and it can choose an opponents monster after banishing 3

So if it's Original Attack becomes 1000, and you tribute it for Beast Rising, does the target recieve 1000 or 2000 attack?

2000. Just tried it in a farm deck today, beast rising operates on original atk points, not adjusted.

No it will only 1000 since Beast Rising count the original atk on the FIELD not banish field
