Decks Used to Complete 1st Stage

REZD by Valmar

  • Set skill: Beatdown
  • Date submitted: Nov 15
Other REZD Deck KOG Player
Darkside

Ancient Gear by Abbiro4[GeO]

The deck revolves around two strategies, that is, control the table with the Sergeant and the Boxer, and use the strength of Ancient Gears to neutralize the activation of traps in the battle phase. The Ancient Gear Engineer helps by destroying a spell / trap after it attacks the opponent, pity it has such a low attack, but nothing that the traps and spells do not help keep it on the field.

Gladiator Beast by Se6ForteSali

Other Gladiator Beast Deck KOG Player
FachionOP - If you get the chance go into nerokius just do it he's basically a GG and play the long game don't try to rush for game.

Justin - I haven’t spent much time getting to KOG as I was playing KC Cup, this Gladiator deck got me to LVL 20.

Cyber Angels by iDrumZ!

  • Set skill: Balance
  • Date submitted: Nov 16
Other Cyber Angel Deck KOG Player
Riceballer - Struggled with KoG decks from last season, so instead turned to a Mind Scan CA deck. Cursed Seal helps with other e-cons, which ruins CA. Anti-Magic Arrows is honestly a must, I don't know why other variants neglect it. I almost considered removing econs for more cursed seal or anti-magic, but in the end this split seemed to work best. Happy dueling!

So this dude Dkayed is going to be a personal coach for duel links players? What a joke, hahaha.

Not really, he said he was perhaps going to private coach in his ninja build kc cup video..

The only thing I did not like about this KC Cup was that I had to duel about fifty billion Dr. Crowlers. What is the deal? It's like half (or maybe more) of the dueling community is playing as him. I hope this is just a fad, because I am sick of dueling this butt-ugly LD. Where is the variety? I did not see even ONE Yami Bakura or Yami Marik in this tournament. Crowler is stealing the spotlight from all of the hot LDs. Well, except Pegasus, that is.

Blame Konami for not givins those Yamis more decent and consistent skills and key cards, such as Zoma the Spirit

So, basically you are saying that Dr. Crowler is not hot?!

Well, there is something to be said for that. I like Yami Marik's Right Back at You. But I don't have much use for their other ones.

In my opinion, no. And his purple lipstick sort of makes me cringe. But I do realize that he is, well, unique.

Number 1 global in KC Cup is Dkayed man that guy is too good

Timmy put up a youtube video on his KC Cup thoughts. it was interesting, he went through the same disconnect problems we all went through. not like those scumbags over 100,000, who were on mod apk autobot and just clicked a button 600 times. timmy seems like good person, I hope he keeps winning
<< Anonymous
Anonymous 1days ago Reply
Yeah.. Timmy > Dkayed. Timmy has a good attitude, and so Guns, MarioZrg, YTDan or other youtubers. But Dkayed?? You can tell by yourself.
<< Anonymous
Anonymous 1days ago Reply
The masked name was likely to hide from people who'd probably try to keep his points low through trolling and disconnect exploiting. He never streams though.
<< Anonymous
Anonymous 1days ago Reply
if dkayed streamed you could see he was using a mod apk autobot. there's no way one person could get a score that high manually. how long does one match take while you are waiting for your opponent to get his cyber angels out, or some of those glad beast matches take forever

this game was full of brainless, i bet next week everyone will running 3sd ninja because of Dkayed.

You see, everyone in ranked match right now are almost Paradox Bros. And I'm surprised they're using 3SD Ninjas... I can see the next wavelength of WCS. Full of 3SD Ninja decks...

When Komaney want us to buy their future new packs they will have to put Ninja's and CAs on new limited list. Else really no point to buy new packs, as you can see here, his deck don't even have new cards like Wall of D, Floodgate etc, certainly no cards from Galactic Orgy pack, what's the fucking point in buying new packs if this deck made of legacy cards can get to rank 1 KC cup?

hey guys, I'm really wondering about one thing - what would have been harder: reaching stage 20 or KOG last season - really want to know - thanks
<< Anonymous
Anonymous 3days ago Reply
Reaching KoG last season was easier. Only Cyber Angels were tier 1, so it was possible to get by using anti-CA decks or using traps/spells to take them out, since they focus on monster destruction, not back row. However, as the KC came around, Ancient Gears and Gladiator Beasts came out as tier 1 decks as well, and those heavily focused on trap/spell destruction. It’s crazy to account for both.

ok that makes sense... too bad I didn't know about this so I had so trouble getting into stage 2 :/ kog last season would have been great if I knew about this "bonus"

well I guess it's going to your German community when the questions are in German - dont think English helps more^^
Anonymous 3days ago
The rewards for being n°1 are trash... They should give us real money. When you're good / pay to win enough to be n°1, you don't care about 6 prismatic SR / UR you can farm, and 1 000 000 trash coins...
<< Anonymous
Anonymous 3days ago Reply
but you cant farm every of these urs and srs, so some are unique and well it's only ingame event so money isn't right there.. on the "real" wcs money should be given away instead

I don't blame on duelists using CA, it's a competitive deck, they need to use it when other also using that on the rank ladder or during this KC cup. This KC cup was a complete failure with the disconnect lost and rules for a fair tournament.
<< Anonymous(lastogambo)

Nah, it's Ninja Cup.
Anonymous 3days ago
Can everyone get a grip moaning about CA, I don't think a single CA deck featured in the top 10 and it certainly wasn't the best deck of the tournament. CA is incredibly easy to counter with econ or any card that negates spells and even a well thought out build can be inconsistent. I was running CA on day one and found that actually running a Horus anti meta deck I won much more frequently
<< Anonymous
Anonymous 3days ago Reply
Top 10 players used either Glads or Ninja Deck. It's hard to rank up by running CA because you would have to do so many mirror matches
<< Anonymous
Anonymous 3days ago Reply
How do you know they used Glads? I assumed Ninja but is Glads really that good?
<< Anonymous
Anonymous 3days ago Reply
Nah, since CA became meta before in ranked matches, everyone had to tech some anti CA decks like Parasite Burn, Destiny Draw Burn, 3SD Horus, Dark Paladin... There were so many counters to CA so I'm sure CA won't be the top used deck in KC CUP. I'm sure we will see more Ninja decks rather than CA in the next ranked matches since 3SD Ninjas are getting popular lately next to CA.

How many wins in a row I needed to get to dlv 20?
