Not sure why is this 9.0 rating. In paper, the synergy of the card's effects is just awesome, but in terms of momentum, like a race who gets the better or higher ATK on the field, its presence is not really threatening nor sufficient. The effect of drawing cards is OP yes, but what would you do if you only draw spells/traps, or lvl 4 weak monsters? Good for "tailored" decks, bad for the general purpose ones.
back in the day was pre-Cyber Dragon, but it was great.
but yeah there's a reason they released a bigger version of this card later (Neo-Parshath, the Sky Paladin, 7*/LIGHT/Fairy, 2300/2000, can tribute with 1 mat if that mat is "Air Knight Parshath", piercing, on damage: draw a card, gains ATK/DEF equal to difference between LP if your LP > opponents LP and "The Sanctuary of the Sky" is out)
to be exact, it was used as a way to deal damage during a meta that had a lot of chump blocking (Scapegoat, etc.), but not a lot of high damage piercing. its main competitor in the 5-6 star department was Vampire Lord, so your choice was either going for a personal buff (Parshath) or an enemy debuff (Vamp)
Use court of justice to special summon this card. Add freya, spirit of victory with it and you got yourself an OP card.
Ya Boi Guzma!!!
With the release of cestus of dalga this card has become a must have for fairy-decks. In combo with 3x vylon chargers and 3x cestus of dalga, as well as court of justice and other fairy support, this deck becomes hard to be just from trying to overcome the vast life-point difference alone. I use this deck with Ishizu's Fairy-smile ability and Fountain in the Sky (unlockable from Tea) and will get over 6,000LP within the first 4-5 turns, which buys you loads of time even if you are losing at the start.
pretty good. i purposely went out of my way to get one cause my favourite typing is fairy but i will admit that the other card (the dark fiend type that does piecing and discards enemies cards with 1950 atk i forgot the name) is better. still decided to put this guy in my fairy deck anyway
Yeah you do. At least it works for me. Unless it was a bug that was later fixed?
I've buyed Parshat, and now I'm using it only in PvE, cause it's a great card against bot's decks...Can also this card works well in PvP? If yes, in what kinds of deck? ATM I'm using a Dino and I'm trying to get some decent beatdown monsters...will this work whit them or he need a particolar deck?
SORRY! I'M THE SAME ANON BELOW WHO KEEPS DOWNVOTING AND MISLEADINGLY CRITICIZES PARSHATH OF HOW WEAK A CARD IS THIS. THAT'S BECAUSE I DON'T HAVE THIS CARD BEFORE. NOW THAT I ALREADY ACQUIRED IT, I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT! VERY AGGRESSIVE CARD! EXTRA EFFECT IS REALLY GOOD TOO. I'M REALLY SORRY FOR MY PREVIOUS IGNORANCE AND STUPIDITY. THANKS.
No. Most of the time, it lacks the raw power to "gain momentum" since you still have to rely to equip cards or the likes of riryoku, metalmorph, etc. BUT, if you're going to use it mostly in PvE, it's quite fine as most AIs and their decks can be predictable. Horribly outclassed as momentum changer in PvP though.
I traded and really like it. First of all it has 1900 atk but the important thing is to beat non-tributed 3-4* monsters with max 1750, unless they have equips. So having a 2300 atk or 1900 will not affect your gameplay so much. Also with an equip spell Airknight can really speed up your game and guarantee your winning. I recommend, drawing card is the most important thing in the game.
