Use this with Shapesister for an easy Gravity Warrior to counter your opponent's swamp of monsters!

Other cons:
-You can summon it only during main phases.
-Uses up to 2 zones (1 monster zone, 1 Spell/Trap zone) while active.
-This card is still a trap card, vulnerable to backrow card removal plays.

Just got my 4th copy of this in the card trader for a missclick... So 10 days of gold goes to the trash and 4 UR Jewels too.

ever since last update, I can no longer summon Embodiment of Apophis in my main phase at all, WTF?

Great card, a little silly that it has a special animation though

Fantastic card. Great tribute fodder for pretty much anything you want to tribute. Use it with econ to tribute summon a monster and remove your opponent's monster in one go! Use order to charge on it. Having an easy special summon that works in any deck (that isn't a meta deck like red eyes) is vital. If you don't want to use meta decks you should put two in your deck. It can easily boost your win ratio.

I was having all kinds of trouble because my deck just wasn't capable of putting two monsters on the field in a turn. Decided to put two of these in and went on an instant win streak.

For some reason my discblade rider does not recognize it in the graveyard when it is destroyed while summoned as a monster. Is this a glitch or some ill-explained game feature?

Discblade riders effect only works on normal trap. Apophis is a continues trap not normal trap
