  • Increase your DLv by winning Duels in the first Stage!
  • Your DLv. May decrease if you lose Duels.
    • Your DLv will not decrease more than 5 and will not go below a level with a multiple of 5 (10,15,20.)
  • Reach the maximum DLv. (20) to participate in the 2nd Stage which begins on Nov 17 13:00.
  • Duelists who reached King of Games in the 21st season of Ranked Duels are invited straight to the 2nd Stage.

2nd Stage

  • You can still enter Stage 2 if your DLv. reaches 20 after Nov. 17 13:00. Don't give up until the end!
  • In Stage 2 you will be duelling for DP. Win, and you'll earn DP! Lose and your DP will be taken away!
  • Aim for the top by accumulating the most DP.

WCS 2018 Representatives

  • Players who place in the top 500 of regional rankings will earn eligibility to participate in the Regional Representative Qualifiers. There may be events other than the KC Cup in the future that grants the eligibility as well.

REZD by Valmar

Darkside

Ancient Gear by Abbiro4[GeO]

The deck revolves around two strategies, that is, control the table with the Sergeant and the Boxer, and use the strength of Ancient Gears to neutralize the activation of traps in the battle phase. The Ancient Gear Engineer helps by destroying a spell / trap after it attacks the opponent, pity it has such a low attack, but nothing that the traps and spells do not help keep it on the field.

FachionOP - If you get the chance go into nerokius just do it he's basically a GG and play the long game don't try to rush for game.

Justin - I haven’t spent much time getting to KOG as I was playing KC Cup, this Gladiator deck got me to LVL 20.

Cyber Angels by iDrumZ!

  • Set skill: Balance

Other Cyber Angel Deck KOG Player
Riceballer - Struggled with KoG decks from last season, so instead turned to a Mind Scan CA deck. Cursed Seal helps with other e-cons, which ruins CA. Anti-Magic Arrows is honestly a must, I don't know why other variants neglect it. I almost considered removing econs for more cursed seal or anti-magic, but in the end this split seemed to work best. Happy dueling!

You see, everyone in ranked match right now are almost Paradox Bros. And I'm surprised they're using 3SD Ninjas... I can see the next wavelength of WCS. Full of 3SD Ninja decks...

dont forget about incoming meta changes - wcs is late 2018 lol

When Komaney want us to buy their future new packs they will have to put Ninja's and CAs on new limited list. Else really no point to buy new packs, as you can see here, his deck don't even have new cards like Wall of D, Floodgate etc, certainly no cards from Galactic Orgy pack, what's the πŸ”₯ing point in buying new packs if this deck made of legacy cards can get to rank 1 KC cup?

More often than not CA can OTK over 1 Econ if the CA player isn't πŸ”₯.

lastogambo what part are you not sure about ?????????? it's CA cup

I don't blame on duelists using CA, it's a competitive deck, they need to use it when other also using that on the rank ladder or during this KC cup. This KC cup was a complete failure with the disconnect lost and rules for a fair tournament.

Nah, it's Ninja Cup.

Can everyone get a grip moaning about CA, I don't think a single CA deck featured in the top 10 and it certainly wasn't the best deck of the tournament. CA is incredibly easy to counter with econ or any card that negates spells and even a well thought out build can be inconsistent. I was running CA on day one and found that actually running a Horus anti meta deck I won much more frequently

Top 10 players used either Glads or Ninja Deck. It's hard to rank up by running CA because you would have to do so many mirror matches
<< Anonymous
Anonymous Reply
How do you know they used Glads? I assumed Ninja but is Glads really that good?
<< Anonymous
Anonymous Reply
Nah, since CA became meta before in ranked matches, everyone had to tech some anti CA decks like Parasite Burn, Destiny Draw Burn, 3SD Horus, Dark Paladin... There were so many counters to CA so I'm sure CA won't be the top used deck in KC CUP.

I'm sure we will see more Ninja decks rather than CA in the next ranked matches since 3SD Ninjas are getting popular lately next to CA.

How many wins in a row I needed to get to dlv 20?

Cyber Angels ruined KC Cup... I'm so sad. I'm proud being part of the players who have not played with this deck, even if I have it and made KOG last season thanks to it.

As someone who did make it to DLv 20 using Cyber Angels, I apologize. It sucks. But unfortunately Konami is really terrible at introducing themed decks, there’s no balance at all. If it wasn’t the Cyber Angels, then it would’ve been the rapid BEWD Beatdown deck using 3 Kaibamen, 3 Kidmodo Dragons, Dragon Rebirth, Totem Dragon, etc. Or it would’ve been Toon Kingdom.
<< Anonymous
Anonymous Reply
toon kingdom is far away from being overpowered.

if people would start to play some twister or despell again, instead of just concentrating on beat down decks, there would be no problems with toon decks
<< Anonymous
Anonymous Reply
Toon Kingdom is not that OP now, because of GB decks. Last season I tried to play other decks than my CA deck to reach KOG, and I gave up and went back to it. For the KC cup, I decided to play something else and I'm proud of it. Especially because I don't care about there prismatic UR / SR trash.

If I reach dlv.20, can I still receive a prismatic sr ticket without playing at stage 2? P.S. I didn't reach KoG!

Nope

Yeah you still get a free prismatic SR ticket. I played 0 games at stage 2 and still got my free ticket

Why are there regions if all my opponents are from Asia? So lame, i was hoping to play vs ppl from my region in the 2nd stage... this is the same as playing ranked duels vs all asian opponents. Last KC Cup was so much better...
<< Anonymous
Anonymous Reply
If you played at all during the last kc cup, you would know it is NOT better.

This one is worse lol, before i was able to play vs ppl from my region and see the real regional rankings, not my ranking vs other region players, the ui is also worse and confusing. And the rewards are meh... I can get similar rewards in the normal ranked mode with less effort.
