You can Ritual Summon this card with "Primal Cry". Once per turn, if another monster(s) in your hand or field is Tributed (except during the Damage Step): You can target 1 monster in your Graveyard; add it to your hand.

Can only retrieve monsters after you tribute for something.

Tips

Possessed Dark Soul

Use the effect of Vennu and reveal Possessed Dark Soul in your hand to turn a monster your opponent controls into level 3, then summon Possessed Dark Soul and tribute him to take all level 3 or lower monsters your opponent controls. After that you can use Vennu to retrieve Possessed Dark Soul.

Skull Lair

Use Vennu to lower the level of your opponent's monster so that you can use Skull Lair with less cost.

Yes, but what I'm really interested in is the potential of a Frog Monarch deck with her in; 6+1=7, so you can summon her off a Frog/Sphere and a single-tribute monster...

That won't work. A ritual monster can only be revived from the GY if it was previously ritual summoned.

This won't work cause the white paladin u special summon from the grave by primal cry won't be able to use its effect as it wasn't ritual summoned(with its specific ritual card-p.s I forgot the name of the card)

Once I see an effect that changes the level of the monster, I could see it being useful in Synchro Summon.

LOL, well in a year or so that might happen, but I actually hope they get the most out of original series and GX before then, or make separate formats at least.

Is this card related to Shinato in any way? They're both LIGHT Ritual Fairy-type monsters by the way.

Combo it with the blue eys ritual summon and just revive with the ritual card and have 3 3000 attack monsters on the field in 1 turn

dang i though i was the only one who thought of it. and then i ended up in a mirror match with someone also using this and blue eyes AND the same skill as well except she had two birds and i only had one :(

The moment when you finally drop this bird from a random Mai Lvl 30 you beat for 2700 DP with Tea Burn when you couldn't get any SR/UR drops after farming Lvl 40 for 7000 DP 5+ times.
