why not use chain destruction instead of eatbagoon? you only need to activate it once to destroy all 3 time wizards

Chain wont work as when time wizard is summoned, then you use chain it will destroy his other time wizards but the one summoned will still be able to do his coin flip

If you don't have that Eatgaboon card, Use Ready for intercepting - flip time wizard facedown before his activation.

But he will activate his effect next turn, right?

I can't successfully farm Joey. So many things can go wrong. Usually he doesn't do over 1800 damage, so you have to take another turn of attacks and lose. Even when I have Enchanted Javelin, he activates Graceful Dice and gets enough attack to finish me. Sometimes he goes the other way and not only gets over 1800, but over 4000 on his first turn. Even when I get my Cerberus on the field, it usually dies to Time Wizard. Even with 3 Abyss Designators and 3 Eatgaboon, Joey will draw his 1st Time Wizard before I draw my first Eatgaboon. I'm sitting at about 25% success.

If your starting hand contains one of these, and not Cerberus, play or set it anyway (in order of importance): golden apples, enchanted javelin, enemy controller, shard of greed, hidden spellbook. Wonder balloons and sword of deep seated is a loop of attack weakening.

This deck no longer works unless you put a riryoku field trap card in to stop his block attack, otherwise Cerberus is getting destroyed

lvl 40 Joey doesn't have block attack.

Someone please change the deck list. He uses 2-3 Axe Warrior now. Difficult to farm with him coz of 1700 atk power dmg. Can't activate skill if you dont reach 1800 damage.

So I found out that Joey won't use Time Wizard vs Unhappy Girl. So using Vassal + Union attack I managed to pull this off no prob.

His lv40 decl has changed to have ax raider

Exactly what I said below. Plus when he has this on field and activates spell, trap or monster effect, you aren't given the opportunity to interact.

LOL! I just tried to farm him (Cerberus). Anytime he summoned Gearfried the Iron Knight, it showed the card as 0 ATK/0 DEF without name on it. I had my Eatgaboon Set for his last Timewizard. Last Turn, Cerberus at 9k ATK, he flip summons his glitched Gearfried, then normaled his Time Wizard and I didn't get the chance to activate my Gaboon, nor did it do the "effect activating"-bling (don#t know how to describe, you know what I mean) but there was just the coin (in the same second it summoned). Pure luck it wasn't heads.

Happened to me too, maybe u have Yami Field - increase atk and def of Time Wizard too that why ur trap didnt works

Just got this from level 40 Joey yesterday

I use this dino deck. I dont use abyssal designator cz i want 'card on the brink' duel assessment

To get over 9999 over dmg use this step on the last step battle :
Ritual summon Cu Chulainn and use riryoku on BEWD to Cu Chulainn. Active order to charge on BEWD to 🔥 enemy monster card
Then use Cu Chulainn skill to BEWD and use another riryoku on your dino to Cu Chulainn again.
Then last use tree ritual weapon on him

Use Dino deck with eatgaboon and abyssal designator is easier to farm with more consistency. So far I haven't lose a duel yet.

Win a Duel: 2000 (or Comeback Victory: 2500)
Low LP: 500
Cards on the Brink: 500
Destroy 10 monsters: 300
Over 5000 damage!: 1800
Perform a Tribute Summon: 300
Perform a Fusion summon: 400

Activate a trap: 100
Play glossy card: 100

Too few monsters. If the first 5 cards aren't dinosaurs you lose automatically.
