Yubel Terror Deck works fine for Joey lvl 40:
Skill: My Name is Yubel
1x Yubel - Terror Incarnate
1x Yubel - The Ultimate Nightmare
3x Planet Pathfinder
3x Fire King Avatar Yaksha
3x Fire King Island
2x Union Attack
1x Secret Path to the Treasures
1x The Calculator
1x Gravekeeper's Vassal
1x Double Summon
Strategy: You either use FK Island or Monster effect to destroy Yubel in your Hand to SS Terror Incarnate. After that he can't do anything(he don't wizard it) and just Fusion Summon here and there his 2 Fusion Monsters.
It gives over 7k DA, with enough glossy/prismatic/destroyed Monster it gives 8k+.
Up to 2 Sangan can be used as substitute for 2 Planet Pathfinder(to search it out/Yubel/other cards) and Double Summon with Photon Lead(for Calculator).
When you don't have to combo for Yubel Destruction, either summon a FK in Attack Position or set(if you have) a Sangan. He don't attack if a) no 1800+ beater b) no dice or c) no Fusion + another 1800 beater.
If you want to get his attack higher, take out some of the life gain, you don't need it, you want to get the comeback victory bonus. But you can try to run a copy or two of murmur in the forest to bounce and reuse your field spell for extra counters
wow you're right I completely forgot about that! *facepalm*
So Eatgaboon didn't work as intended vs Time Wizard on some of my runs lately, which I first dismissed as only my lack of proper knowledge of the game mechanics. Has anyone come across this issue themselves lately?
I wish they'd redo the early LDs' Decks. Some of them are just unacceptably bad now. (Kaiba, Joey, Mako, Rex and Odion for example.) The Level 30 GX LD's have better decks than each of the characters I mentioned. (Heck, I'd say Bastion's Level 20 deck is better than most of those.)
We don't have any LD's that are practically ungrindable yet, there's no reason to think that would happen with a revamp of the older LD's. There is no excuse for a Level 40 Legendary Duelist to use a card like Battle Steer or Masaki the Legendary Swordsman.
